The Shedeur Sanders saga is the gift that keeps on giving. Today, a Colorado fan filed a Complaint against the NFL due to the pounding that his “emotional well-being” took during the recent Draft.

Sadly, this Complaint was filed by a John Doe. While the world deserves to know who this person is, at least they were smart enough not to put their legal name on the document. This prevents his family, friends and place of employment talking to him about the emotional distress he endured during the NFL Draft.
While the filing of the Complaint was bold, the damages John Doe is seeking takes it to the next level. At first it seems as though “a retraction of the slanderous statements made about Shedeur Sanders, along with an apology for any harm caused to his reputation” was enough, but soon after John Doe mentions that $100M in damages is also appropriate.
And just in case the Court believes that the NFL deserves more of a beating, John Doe is also ok with “any additional remedies the Court deems appropriate, including compensatory damages.”
Never change John Doe.
