RECRUITING: Brother of NFL First Round Draft Pick Adds More Offers

Younger brother of NFL First Round Draft Pick has recently added two new offers

Having an older brother who was just selected in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft is good motivation for any up-and-coming player. That is the situation for Class of 2027 athlete Diesel Dart.

Diesel’s brother, Jaxson Dart, was drafted last Thursday night by the New York Giants after an impressive collegiate career at USC and most notably Ole Miss. For Diesel, he picked up his first two offers in January from Ole Miss and San Diego State, before adding two more in April. First was BYU, which was followed by his latest last night from Arizona.

Diesel plays his high school football at Corner Canyon in Draper, Utah, the same program that produced his older brother. But unlike his brother, Diesel plays wide receiver and safety instead of quarterback.

At 6-foot-1, 175-pounds, Diesel finished his sophomore season with 44 tackles and one interception. On the offensive side of the ball, he had 23 receptions for 369 yards and two touchdowns.

Offers are likely to continue to accumulate in the coming days, weeks and months. While Jaxson made it a point to leave Utah to play his college football, Diesel will have to make his own decision. Will he be willing to play closer to home, will he follow Jaxson’s path to Ole Miss or will he take a completely new path to a different school? Only time will tell.
