Pine Lake Prep wide receiver Thomas Jenkins is a talented receiver that college coaches should learn about in the coming months. Jenkins has the right attitude about helping his team and being the best he could be.

At 6-foot, 170 pounds, Jenkins caught 26 passes for 358 yards and four TDs in 2024. He averaged 13 yards per catch and 59.67 receiving yards per game.

Against Roanoke Rapids, Jenkins caught five passes for 103 yards and a touchdown, an average of 20 yards per catch.

As a young varsity player, Jenkins has honed his receiving skills on the 7-on-7 circuit. He is a good route runner and can “sell it” to create separation and make plays in space.

The Best Way to End the Scheduling Debate

Jenkins has learned and developed leadership skills from the veterans on the team.

Jenkins is a North Carolina legacy, as his mom and uncle are Tar Heel alums. Jenkins’s grandfather taught at UNC for 45 years. His dad graduated from Appalachian State.

While he has an interest in those schools, Jenkins is also open to all other schools for recruitment talks.

Jenkins’s game film shows crisp routes and good ball skills, especially in traffic. He should pop up on coaches’ radar in the coming months.

In the fall, Jenkins will showcase his football skills as a member of Southlake Christian Academy.
