The state of Alaska is known for numerous things, but high school recruiting is not one of them. But occasionally a player does surface, which is the case this year as Class of 2026 defensive tackle Deuce Alailefaleula has more than ten offers.

The offer from Boston College was Alailefaleula’s first P4 offer but was then followed by Arizona and Cal. Aside from these three, he has also received offers from Boise State, UTSA, Nevada, FAU, Washington State, Liberty, Tennessee-Martin and Gardner-Webb.
Alailefaleula, 6-foot-1 and 290-pounds, plays at Bartlett High School in Anchorage, where his family is very well known. His father, Tui, was also a defensive lineman at Bartlett before playing college football at Washington, while his older brother, Niko, graduated Bartlett in 2023 and is currently a running back at FCS Southern Utah.
According to 247sports, Alailefaleula has scheduled his first two official visits to Boston College and Boise State, which brings the reality of being the next family member to play college football even closer.
