The 2024 season did not go as well as Western Albemarle High School would have liked. They started the 2024 season with five straight losses and finished with a 3-7 record.
With that said, the Warriors from Crozet, Virginia had some flashes of brilliance on the gridiron. One of those flashes materialized in the form of wide receiver RJ Corbey.

In addition, Corbey also served his team by playing defensive back, handling kicking duties and posting 242 kick return yards. Corbey was 29 yards shy of 1,000 all-purpose yards (971). It was an Ironman season, indeed.
Corbey posted three games of over 100 yards receiving, including a season-high 138 yards on seven catches (19-yard average) and two touchdowns in a 62-32 win over Charlottesville.
