Brown started his collegiate career at North Carolina, before transferring to USF and then Arkansas. Overall, he has totaled 49 receptions for 950 yards and eight touchdowns, with his best season coming in 2023 with the Bulls when he finished with 27 receptions for 435 yards and five touchdowns. In his one season with the Razorbacks, he had two receptions for 42 yards in the season opener against Arkansas-Pine Bluff, but didn’t play in another game.

As a grad transfer, Brown was able to enter the portal before the upcoming April window.
