Jaren Kanak was a Class of 2022 four-star linebacker who signed with Oklahoma. But after three seasons at his natural position, he has made the transition to tight end during the spring. When asked how his process is going, he gave this legendary reply:
Jaren Kanak on adjusting to catching the ball, moving from linebacker to tight end.

Referring to his use of the JUG machine to better prepare his hands for his new receiving duties, Kanak’s method of delivery has quickly gained plenty of attention.
His move to tight end caught many by surprise after he totaled 103 tackles, seven tackles for loss and two tackles for loss. The fact he decided to switch positions instead of transferring is also refreshing in the current world of “fight or flight”, when flight is the usual decision.
At 6-foot-2, 230 pounds, Kanak doesn’t possess traditional tight end size, but his speed and athleticism could make him a matchup nightmare as long as he can quickly prove himself to be a reliable receiving threat. And in order to do that he will need to continue his consistent work on the “JUGS”.
