With the NFL Combine starting next week, it recently became apparent that Colorado DB Shilo Sanders would not be receiving an invitation. In response to this “snub”, he has decided to hire Zybek Sports, the company that registers the official 40 times at the Combine to make his private work legitimate.
While some people have decided to call his omission from the NFL Combine a snub, after his subpar performance in 2024 it shouldn’t be termed that. Most analysts believe that Sanders will go undrafted in April
To his credit, instead of pouting, Sanders’ decision to hire Zybek Sports is a unique solution. Will it be enough to change his draft trajectory? Unlikely, but it will keep him engaged in the process during the next week.
Finally, in the above video it is interesting that the official time of the 40 he runs is not mentioned. One can safely assume that if his time was impressive it would have been, so Sanders likely has plenty of work to do in the next week to make this decision worthwhile.
