In a college football world full of NIL money and transfers, one of the most innocent things that still remains is a walk-on earning a scholarship. Teams find creative ways to make these announcements, with the most recent one coming from South Carolina.
Nothing beats moments like this 🤙

The recipient of the amazing news is Colin Bryant, a 6-foot-2, 230-pound linebacker, who transferred in from Alabama after walking on with the Tide as a tight end in 2021. Arriving in Columbia in 2022, he didn’t see any game action during his first season but played in eight games in 2023 and then all 13 games in 2024, where most of his play came on special teams.
Head coach Shane Beamer has a good thing going on at South Carolina and announcements like this will keep the positive vibes going through the off-season.
