Branch already has a long history with the Cardinals. Arriving as a JUCO signee in 2000, in two seasons at Louisville he totaled 2,204 yards and 18 touchdowns. He was then drafted in the second round of the 2002 NFL Draft by New England, where he was a two-time Super Bowl Champion and one-time Super Bowl MVP. He also played with Seattle and Indianapolis.
