Chip Kelly left his head coaching job at UCLA to become Ohio State’s offensive coordinator. After
helping the Buckeye’s win the national championship, Kelly is leaving to be the offensive coordinator for
the Las Vegas Raiders according to @AdamSchefter.

This is not Kelly’s first stint in the NFL. After a successful run as head coach for the Oregon Ducks, Kelly
became head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles in 2013. He went 10-6, won the NFC east, and made the
playoffs in year one. The Eagles missed the playoffs in year two and went 6-9 in year three. Kelly was
then fired. Following a 2-14 with the San Francisco 49ers, Kelly was out of the NFL.

In 2017, the UCLA Bruins hired Kelly to take over the program. In his six years in Los Angeles, he went
35-34, with the best season being a 9-4 campaign in 2022 and finishing 22nd in the AP poll. Kelly shocked
the college football world in 2024 when he stepped away from his head coaching duties to take a
coordinator position in Columbus. Many believe it was because of the changing landscape of college
football.
