While the NFL Combine will always be the most important pre-Draft event, the Senior Bowl has steadily risen up the charts. Here are five non-P4 players who have the opportunity to strengthen their stock this week:
TE Harold Fannin (Bowling Green)
Penn State’s Tyler Warren received most of the national attention at the position this season, but Fannin’s accomplishments should not be overlooked. He enjoyed a monstrous 2024 season, finishing with 117 receptions for 1,555 yards and 10 touchdowns. His performance against the two P4 opponents the Falcons faced this season (Penn State and Texas A&M) was equally impressive as he totaled 19 receptions for 282 yards and two touchdowns in the two games.
WR Nick Nash (San Jose State)
Initially a college quarterback, Nash has only been a fulltime wide receiver for two seasons. After showcasing his potential in 2023, he exploded this season with 104 receptions for 1,382 yards and 16 touchdowns, which was #1 nationally. However, unlike Fannin, he didn’t have an opportunity to showcase his skills against elite P4 opposition this season, so there is interest to see how he will perform against top cornerbacks this week.

OT Charles Grant (William & Mary)
Being the only FCS player on this list, plenty of eyes will be on Grant to see how he matches up against FBS players. He possesses all of the physical tools that NFL scouts are looking for in an offensive tackle, so a dominant showing this week would go a very long way in firmly establishing him as one of the top available players at his valuable position.
DE Mike Green (Marshall)
Green, who transferred in from Virginia, dominated during his first season as a fulltime starter in 2024 with the Herd. Finishing with 84 tackles, 23 tackles for loss (#2 nationally) and 17 sacks (#1 nationally), he has been steadily moving up draft charts during the last month. An impressive performance in Mobile, Alabama would continue his upward movement.

WR Jalen Royals (Utah State)
While a foot injury cut his 2024 down to only seven games, Royals still proved himself as one of the more productive wide receivers in the country. During his last 20 games, he totaled 126 receptions for 1,914 yards and 21 touchdowns, at 6-foot-0 and 200-pounds, he possesses a powerful frame that has also proven to be dynamic in the open field.
