Bailey signed with Tennessee out of high school when he was the fourth-ranked QB in the 2020 class according to On3 Industry Ranking. As a freshman, he went 48 of 68, 578 yards, 4 TDs, and 2 INTs.
Bailey transferred to UNLV after his sophomore season in which he saw limited playing time. With the
Rebels, he went 30 of 58, 318 yards, and 2 TDs in his lone season in the desert. He spent the 2024
season as Tyler Shough‘s backup at Louisville.
Bailey will likely be competing for a backup position at Florida. DJ Lagway would seem to be a lock for
the QB1 position in Gainesville. He finished the season strong after coming back from injury and
winning the final four games. Lagway has brought back the excitement and heightened the expectations
for the Gator program moving into 2025.
