News about Deion Sanders’ future continues to be a hot topic, especially after the Dallas head coaching job opened up earlier this week. This only intensified earlier today after it was reported that he would likely accept the job if offered the opportunity:
Regarding Deion Sanders: I’m being told that he would almost certainly accept if Jerry Jones offers to make him the next #Cowboys head coach, that those around him are encouraging him to pursue it and that Jones is enamored with the idea.

The report by Ed Werner, a known Dallas Cowboys insider, only throws gas into the fire regarding Coach Sanders’ future with Colorado. This started with the Las Vegas Raiders opening and has only gotten hotter with Dallas’ decision to part ways with Mike McCarthy.
And not helping the situation is the fact that Coach Sanders has yet to sign his contract extension offer, which was addressed in depth yesterday in this Denver Post article written by Sean Keeler. Coach Sanders’ love of Boulder and the University would be much more obvious if he put pen to paper, until then it is just hollow words.
The longer this drags out, the more stressful this will be for the people of Boulder.
