Most quarterbacks gain fame through success on the field, while others establish it through other means. For Jaden Rashada it has definitely been through other means. And today it was announced that he will be back in the transfer portal after one season with Georgia:

As a true freshman he played three games with Arizona State before not playing during the 2024 season with the Bulldogs. However, he is most known for decommitting from Florida during his high school recruitment when his NIL deal fell through.
Some believed that Georgia head coach Kirby Smart only signed Rashada to spite Florida, but whatever the reason, his time in Athens was uneventful.
It will be interesting to see who gives Rashada his next opportunity. Is he still a P4 quarterback? Does he drop down to G5? Wherever he ends up, he needs to find a roster where he can have a legitimate opportunity to play in 2025. At some point soon he needs to prove that he is actually a viable D1 quarterback and that needs to start this fall.

At that point everyone will see if Rashada can finally earn fame from his football skills.
