The recruiting trail is very active with news and commitments for players in the Class of 2025 and 2026. Teams like Auburn and Oregon have been making moves, and seem to be in a good position to add to their classes.

Tennessee

Isaiah Campbell

#40 NAT, #4 DL, #2 NC

Campbell, a 6’4″ 260-pound DL recently decommited from Clemson and is now taking an official visit to Knoxville this week. Ohio State and Tennessee are frontrunners for the dominant defensive lineman from Durham, NC. Clemson commits are not allowed to take visits, so the decommitment allowed him to open up his recruitment and fully explore his options.

Tennessee is looking to strengthen its Linebacker corps this recruiting cycle as well. A pair of linebackers are at the head of their priority list.

Jadon Perlotte

#166 NAT, #20 LB, #23 GA

The 4-Star prospect from Buford, Georgia verbally committed to Georgia early before flipping to USC.

Austin Howard

#670 NAT, #69 LB, #23 TN

Howard is currently committed to Mississippi St, but Tennessee is confident they can sign the in-state prospect from Memphis.

Miami

Miami has a great chance of landing their 3rd top-10 recruiting class in the last four years, and second in a row. Their top current Commits are:

Hylton Stubbs – S – 6’1, 190LB (#49 NAT, #4 S, #7 FL)

Jaboree Antoine – CB – 6’1, 170LB (#73 NAT, #8 CB, #2 LA)

SJ Alofaituli – IOL – 6’3, 280LB (#78 NAT, #3 IOL, #3 NV)

Bryce Fitzgerald – S – 6’1, 172LB (#124 NAT, #12 S, #20 FL)

DJ Pickett – CB – 6-4, 180LB (#7 NAT, #2 CB, #1 FL) is currently committed to LSU. He has two more visits planned for LSU, but Miami is in steady communication with the 5-star prospect from Tampa, Florida.

Solomon Thomas – 6-4, 315LB – IOL – (#21 NAT, #1 IOL, #3 FL) is committed to Florida State, but Miami is still in the picture. Coach Mario Cristobal likes to build teams via the trenches, so Thomas is a highly coveted prospect Miami would love to flip from their in-state rival.

LSU commit DJ Pickett will visit the Miami vs Florida game. Let’s give him a show Canes.

Colorado

Carde Smith

#251 NAT, #26 OT, #15 AL

Smith committed to Auburn in the spring before flipping to USC. He Took an unofficial visit to Boulder last week and plans to take an official visit to Colorado on October 26th when they play Cincinnati. Smith is reportedly “intrigued” by the Buffs, and impressed with their consistent communication with his mother, even after his USC commitment. Smith isn’t the only USC commit being targeted by Colorado.

Julian Lewis

#15 NAT, #4 QB, #3 GA

The 4-Star USC commit has been in constant talks with Colorado but hasn’t been on campus in Boulder since taking an official visit during the summer.

Javion Hilson

#32 NAT, #2 EDGE, #6 FL

Hilson was in attendance for the UCF-Colorado game, and reportedly came away impressed. Colorado offered the 4-Star prospect from Cocoa, Florida in the summer. Hilson was an Alabama commit until Nick Saban retired, then he flipped to Florida State, before decommitting recently and opening his recruitment back up.

Oregon

The offensive line is a huge need for Oregon this recruiting cycle. Four of their five starters will be graduating after this season. They’re reportedly targeting a pair of Tennessee commits, and have already made a move in one.

Douglas Utu

#69 NAT, #2 IOL, #1 NV

Utu recently flipped from to Oregon.

David Sanders

#2 NAT, #1 OT, #1 NC

Sanders’ commitment to Tennessee apparently influenced Oregon to take a more aggressive approach to land the 5-star Offensive Tackle. Oregon views him as an instant impact player who can be a day-1 starter.

Zac Stascausky

#630 NAT, #45 OT, #2 OR

Stascausky is steadfastly committed to the University of Washington, but Oregon is determined to flip the 4-Star Oregon native.

They’re not the only committed prospects that Coach Dan Lanning is aggressively recruiting.

Dijon Lee

#23 NAT, #4 CB, #1 CA

Despite being committed to Alabama, the 5-star corner has reportedly communicated with Oregon throughout his recruitment. Coach Lanning ramped up recruiting during Oregon’s bye last week.

Linkon Cure

#30 NAT, #2 TE, #2 KS

The 5-star Tightend is committed to Kansas State, but Oregon’s TE coach recently visited him. A commitment flip is not imminent but Oregon is still very confident they can land him.

Oregon’s top committed prospects for 2025 include:

Dakorien Moore – 5’11, 182LB – WR – Duncanville, TX (#3 NAT, #1 WR, #1 TX)

Trey Mcnutt – 6’0, 180LB – S – Cleveland, OH (#18 NAT, #1 S, #2 OH)

Dallas Wilson – 6-3, 195LB – WR – Tampa, FL (#22 NAT, #5 WR, #4 FL)

Dorian Brew – 6’0, 200LB – CB – Conroe, TX (#39 NAT, #5 CB, #11 TX)

I am honored to announce I have received an offer from Oregon! @105CoachTerry @CoachDanLanning @CoachJoeLorig @oregonfootball pic.twitter.com/Juu5zFyPD6

Michigan

Nathaniel Owusu-Boateng

#75 NAT, #10 LB, #11 FL

Owusu-Boateng was in attendance for the Michigan-USC game. According to reports, he and his family were very impressed by the atmosphere at ‘The Big House,’ describing it as “electric.” Playing time in year one is a major selling point for the 4-Star prospect, along with the Michigan coaching staff’s ability to develop him as a player. He also loves their defensive scheme which he believes fits his game perfectly. Owusu-Boateng has visits planned for Notre Dame and Texas this season as well, but Michigan remains the frontrunner.

Michigan’s offensive line is consistently one of the best in the country year in and year out. The Wolverines are looking to the 2026 class to continue the tradition. Their priority targets include:

Tyler Merrill – 6-5, 310LB – IOL – Mechanicsburg, PA (#75 NAT, #4 IOL, #2 PA)

Breck Kolojay – 6-6, 300LB – IOL – Bradenton, FL (#242 NAT, #18 IOL, #43 FL)

Malakai Lee – 6-6, 318LB – OT – Honolulu, HI (#145 NAT, #11 OT, #1 HI)

Ben Davis High School senior Thomas Gotkowski (3) is hit by IMG Academy High School junior Nathaniel Owusu-Boateng (11) as he runs the ball out of the backfield during the first half of an IHSAA varsity football game, Friday, Sept. 8, 2023, at Ben Davis High School.

Auburn

Deuce Knight

#29 NAT, #5 QB, #2 MS

Auburn’s number one target was Knight, before committing on October 2nd. His skill set is a perfect match for Hugh Freeze‘s offense and he reportedly sees an opportunity to play right away, some of the reasons he flipped from Notre Dame.

Caleb Cunningham

#14 NAT, #2 WR, #1 MS

Cunningham is a top target despite a verbal commitment to Alabama. He’s had great visits to Auburn but still has a lot of questions regarding their QB situation. Deuce Knight flipping should help, but Auburn’s fighting an uphill battle.

Nelson Mcguire

#529 NAT, #35 IOL, #76 TX

McGuire is a Priority OL target for the Tigers. He officially visited the Oklahoma game and reportedly left campus, saying Auburn is currently his top school.
