As the Godfather of Recruiting, people say I don’t do enough recruiting content. Well here ya go.
My top 10 teams for the 2025 class…Subject to change by the minute as this is recruiting after all.
1. Alabama
Is Kalen DeBoer answering all recruiting questions or is this residual from Nick Saban and his traditional top three recruiting? Time will tell but this is impressive so far.
2. Ohio State
Recruiting certainly isn’t Ryan Day’s issue as he continues to load up and separate his roster from the rest of the non SEC programs.
3. Georgia
Kirby Smart is the unquestioned No. 1 recruiter in college football with Saban gone and continues to stack class after class of talent.
4. LSU
Brian Kelly has the shackles off as he can now recruit without academic restriction. It’s showing.

5. Auburn
I told everyone who would listen that Hugh Freeze was the perfect fit for Auburn. Why? Not only is he a great coach but he knows SEC recruiting well.
6. Oregon
Dan Lanning is building recruiting momentum that could lead to a national title in a couple years.
7. Tennessee
Josh Heupel has not only saved the Vols program from inept coaches but he’s recruiting at an alarmingly good rate.
8. Notre Dame
Losing QB Deuce Knight would drop them out of the top 10 but for now that is a great class and shows recruiting at an elite level can be consistent at Notre Dame.
9. Miami
Mario Cristobal can recruit and he continues to prove it. If he continues to stack classes, he will win the ACC soon and hit the playoff.
10. Texas A&M
Jimbo was flash, Mike Elko is substance and with his coaching ability, recruiting classes like these will go further.
