In today’s Fact or Fiction — Recruiting Edition — I look at three big recent topics from the recruiting trail and decide whether the statement is indeed FACT or if it’s FICTION.
1. WR Dakorien Moore is now a Texas lean.
Farrell’s take: FACT
I felt he was going to stick with his LSU commitment, and he could still, but after a two-day visit to Texas, I think he’s leaning toward the Longhorns now. This will be a long battle with many twists and turns, but word is that Texas really flipped his head.

2. The Terps lead for QB Malik Washington.
Farrell’s take: FACT
Virginia Tech, Syracuse, and UCF are in this as well but the Terps are the team to beat and get the last official this spring as well. Mike Locksley is a great recruiter and won’t let this one get away from him, as Washington is a local 4 star talent he needs badly.

3. Colorado now leads for QB TJ Lateef.
Farrell’s take: FICTION
Lateef was impressed with Deion Sanders’ pitch and all that, but I still like Nebraska here. The longer this goes, the better the chances for Nebraska, as well, as Matt Rhule has made him an absolute priority and will recruit him hard.
