Modern College Football makes it hard enough to retain players who have already signed to a school, in turn making it even harder to retain early commitments headed to signing day. Still early in the cycle, here are some names that are back to exploring their options on the recruiting trail:
Jayvan Boggs
Cocoa, FL (Cocoa)
#189 NAT, #24 WR, #27 FL
Ohio State landing elite wide receivers has been a theme in recent recruiting cycles, and they are contenders for a few more in 2025. Boggs committed to wide receivers coach Brian Hartline and the Buckeyes in October but has recently reopened his recruitment.
The 6’0″, 190-pound receiver hauled in 93 receptions for 1,504 yards and 24 touchdowns in his junior season, warranting more attention at this stage in the recruiting cycle. It’s clear that Boggs wants to take more visits and explore his options but there’s a lot of smoke with Notre Dame as of recent.
Early Prediction: Notre Dame

Jamarion Parker
Saint Louis, MO (Cardinal Ritter)
#339 NAT, #28 RB, #4 MO
Things can change quickly in the recruiting world, so it shouldn’t be a shock that Parker lined up a visit to Nebraska just after breaking off his commitment to coach Sam Pittman and Arkansas. Parker, a 6’0″, 185-pound running back had been committed to the Hogs since September and in light of some recent offers wants to keep his options open.

There’s a lot of time before Parker inevitably has to sign and decide, and I would be shocked to see a quick turnaround in a new commitment. Coach Matt Rhule and the Huskers will have an opportunity to make a strong impression in a visit this June but I would expect a few more visits to be scheduled.
Early Prediction: Nebraska

Adrian Wilson
Pflugerville, TX (Weiss)
#116 NAT, #15 WR, #19 TX
No question that coach Dan Lanning and Oregon have a loaded wide receiver room, but losing a dynamic athlete like Adrian Wilson always hurts. The 6’2″ 176-pound playmaker is an elite route-runner and can win a lot of the 50-50 balls you expect high-caliber receivers to secure.
Nothing is clear about what might be next for Wilson, and we are on his second decommitment, the first being from TCU. I would expect to get more clarity in this recruitment as we get into fall and look for a lot of teams in the south to make some noise down the stretch. If I had to throw a team out there, I’d say South Carolina is one to watch.
Early Prediction: South Carolina

Carius Curne
Marion, AR (Marion)
#122 NAT, #11 OT, #1 AR
There’s no other way to spin this one, it’s a tough blow for coach Sam Pittman and Arkansas. Not only do you lose one of the top offensive linemen in the 2025 class, you lose the best player in your home state. Coupled with the decommitment of Parker, it’s been a tough week for the Hogs.
There’s a chance Curne could still end up in Fayetteville, but there’s a lot of smoke around LSU to be the winner in the Curne sweepstakes. If I had to make a prediction, I’d say coach Brian Kelly will close and the top player in the state of Arkansas will end up a Tiger.
Early Prediction: LSU
