In today’s Fact or Fiction — NFL Draft edition — I look at three big recent topics around the NFL Draft and decide whether the statement is indeed FACT or if it’s FICTION.
1. QB Joe Milton is a day-two value.
Farrell’s take: FICTION
As expected, the Tennessee QB wowed everyone with his big arm at the combine, and of course, some teams will fall in love with that. And with many of the top QBs not throwing, he got some day-two buzz as a potential third-rounder. That won’t happen, and it shouldn’t, as Milton could slide to the end of the draft despite that cannon. He’s too inconsistent and lacks touch.

2. The NY Giants will go QB at No. 6.
Farrell’s take: FICTION
The Giants have lost Saquon Barkley, and they don’t believe in Daniel Jones, so there is some talk of taking a QB. But why? Trade down, address QB later or next year, and just suck next season for a high pick. This team has zero weapons at RB or WR, so taking a quarterback that high will set him up for failure.

3. Xavier Worthy is worthy of a first round pick.
Farrell’s take: FACT
I’m tempted to say FICTION as Worthy is slight, and we all saw how John Ross did with his speed (nothing). But Worthy is a better route runner and overall receiver than Ross was and now that he’s broken his 40-time record at 4.21, he is faster as well. He’s a value at the end of round one for me.
