The Huskies, fresh off an appearance in the National Championship Game, have a new coach in Jedd Fisch (formerly of Arizona). He takes over as the head man after Kalen DeBoer took the head coaching job at Alabama in the wake of the retirement of Nick Saban.
In the chaos of that coaching carousel, 22 players transferred out of the program, while 15 new players transferred in. Fisch does have talent to work with, including these three transfers that are sure to make an impact in 2024.
QB Will Rogers
Previous School: Mississippi State Bulldogs
6’2”, 205 lbs.
With 40 starts at Mississippi State, Will Rogers is the holder of 29 records for the Bulldogs. This includes being the school leader in passing yards with 12,315 yards, which is outstanding enough for #2 all-time in SEC history.
Massive get for Washington as they haul in star QB Will Rogers from Miss State.
Rogers put up 12,315 yards, 94 TD passes and just 28 interceptions during a prolific career with the Bulldogs.

Rogers has thrown 94 career touchdowns, which ranks #4 all-time in the SEC. Still not convinced? How about this-Rogers is the only quarterback in the history of the SEC with 1,000 completions.

In addition, Rogers has 19 games of over 300 yards passing and 29 games of over 200 yards passing. His season-high last season was 487 yards, one TD, one INT in a loss to South Carolina. Rogers takes over for Michael Penix, Jr., a 4,900-yard passer and a 2023 Heisman finalist. Under Fisch, Rogers should thrive as Fisch coached Arizona to a Top 20-ranked offense.
RB Jonah Coleman
Previous School: Arizona Wildcats
5’9”, 225 lbs.
The leading rusher for Arizona last season, Jonah Coleman gained 871 yards on the ground and five TDs, averaging north of six yards per carry. He averaged over six yards per carry in six games last season.

In addition, Coleman proved his pass-catching skills with 25 catches for 283 yards and a touchdown. Coleman rushed for 179 yards in a 3-point win over Colorado. In a 38-point blowout victory over Washington State, Coleman scored three rushing touchdowns and caught four passes for 98 yards.
Coleman has 1,243 career rushing yards in two seasons with the Wildcats and will provide depth at the position and leadership in the running back room. In addition, Coleman fills a void left by Dillon Johnson (1,195 rushing yards, 16 TDs) as he declared for the NFL Draft.
LB Bryun Parham
Previous School: San Jose State Spartans
5’11”, 212 lbs.
The leading tackler for the Spartans last season, Bryun Parham racked up 106 tackles. In addition, Parham made five tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, three pass breakups, one INT, four quarterback pressures, and one forced fumble.
