QB George MacIntyre
Brentwood, TN (Brentwood Academy)
#15 NAT, #3 QB, #1 TN
Tennessee’s top player announced his intentions to play for the Volunteers on Monday morning over Alabama and LSU. Standing at 6’5.5, 182 lbs George MacIntyre has great height with plenty of room to add muscle. In his junior season, he completed 285 of 423 passes for 3,229 yards and 25 touchdowns, although with 12 interceptions. He also had three rushing touchdowns.
MacIntyre comes from a family of coaches. His uncle Mike MacIntyre is the current coach at FIU. His grandfather, also named George was once the HC at Vanderbilt and UT-Martin. George also plays basketball for Brentwood Academy and picked up offers from Arizona State and FIU.
MacIntyre was ranked the #2 QB by the MFS staff rankings. Associate Editor & Rankings Manager Cory Lemer wrote this about him:
Standing at 6-5.5 182 pounds, MacIntyre has a solid build for the position. Adding 10-15 pounds of good weight could benefit the QB as he is on the leaner side of the spectrum. MacIntyre is a true pocket-passer who can throw the ball 50+ yards with solid accuracy. The ability to read a defense is displayed in his film, and his head is constantly on a swivel, searching for an open receiver. MacIntyre is comfortable throwing into tight windows and can hit all levels and sides of the field. He will be a P5 starter shortly who, with some development, can hear his name called on Thursday.
This is a huge get for Josh Heupel and co. Tennessee in the past has had struggles in the past keeping top talent home, so getting the best player in-state and a future star QB is a great pick up. MacIntyre is Tennessee’s sixth commit of 2025, moving them to ninth in the 247Sports Composite.

DL Lance Jackson
Texarkana, TX (Pleasant Grove)
#105 NAT, #9 DL, #18 TX
Shortly after attending Junior Day on the 20th, Lance Jackson became the latest commit for the Texas Longhorns. The 6’5, 245 lbs DL acted quickly, committing the following day.
He chose Texas over from his 27 offers which includes Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oregon, Penn State, Tennessee, Texas A&M, and more. He becomes Texas’ fifth commit of the 2025 class, putting them at 10th in the 247Sports Composite.
Jackson’s brother Landon Jackson is a DE for Arkansas. After starting his career at LSU, he entered the transfer portal before 2022 and ended with 44 tackles and 6.5 sacks last season.

TE Elyiss Williams
Kingsland, GA (Camden County)
#13 NAT, #1 TE, #5 GA
The Georgia commit will be taking a visit to rival Florida this weekend for Junior Day. Seen as the top Tight End in 2025, Elyiss Williams has been committed since April 8th, 2023 to the school that has arguably been best at developing his position.
Since Williams commitment, this will only be his fourth total visit. He has been to Florida State twice and Georgia on September 6th, 2023.
Florida’s Junior Day also includes top prospects such as the top DL Elijah Griffin, and four-stars DL Myron Charles, LB Tarvos Alford, WR Vernell Brown III, and many more. Williams still looks to be locked in with Georgia, but who knows if the visit could change his mind.

QB KJ Lacey & WR Ryan Williams
Saraland, AL (Saraland)
#73 NAT, #8 QB, #1 AL; #6 NAT, #3 WR, #2 AL (2024)
The two Saraland teammates made a visit to Kalen DeBoer and Alabama over the weekend. Lacey is committed to Texas, but his wideout was a longtime commit to Nick Saban’s team before his retirement. Williams was once part of the 2025 class as well, but he reclassified December of this year and crucially didn’t sign his NLI.
Since decommitting from Alabama, Williams has also visited LSU and Texas A&M, with visits to Auburn and Texas scheduled in the future. Lacey has visited Auburn four times and Texas once since committing in June of 2023. This was his first visit to Alabama since September 2022.
Lemer says this about Lacey, ranked 7th in the MFS Staff Rankings:
“Standing at 6-1 180 pounds, KJ Lacey has a poor build for the QB position. Adding 10-15 pounds of good weight can benefit him at the next level. Lacey throws to the best WR in 2025, Ryan Williams, making it hard to evaluate him. Lacey has a huge arm and can throw the ball 55+ yards with ease. The agile dual-threat QB can use his legs to create plays in the RPO game and escape the pocket if needed. He works through his progressions nicely to find the open receiver and is a pass-first QB. His accuracy is decent and could use some tweaking. Lacey has trouble staying in the pocket and is always moving. His accuracy is solid while throwing on the run. Lacey should work on his footwork and mechanics before college.”
The two players have a strong connection and there is still plenty of uncertainty, especially in Williams school. While he is currently favored to Auburn, the remaining visits could easily sway him and this battle will be tight to the finish line. Lacey will not be reclassifying, but depending on where Williams commits and how year one goes, I could see him entering the portal or Lacey decommiting depending on Williams’ school.
