Today, we profile an SEC running back who led his team in rushing touchdowns, the 2023 MAC Player of the Year, and a 6-5 highly sought-after Big Ten wide receiver.
RB Trevor Etienne
Florida Gators
5’9″, 205 lbs.
The brother of former Clemson standout running back Travis Etienne, Trevor rushed for 753 yards and averaged 5.75 yards per carry. Etienne scored eight rushing touchdowns, which led the team. He recorded one game of over 100 yards rushing: 172 yards on 23 carries (7.48 yards per carry) in a 29-16 win over Tennessee.
Against LSU, Etienne rushed for 99 yards and three scores in a 52-35 loss at LSU.

Etienne also served as a kick returner, gaining 421 yards on 17 returns on the season.

He will most certainly get a ton of interest. Being a Louisiana native, could Etienne go back to the Bayou state? Or will he strike out on his own elsewhere in the Southeast? Time will tell.

DL Chris McClellan
Florida Gators
6’3″, 320 lbs.
McClellan made 46 career tackles as a Gator, with 23 coming in the 2023 season. Against LSU, McClellan racked up six tackles in the road loss at LSU.
McClellan has offers from Florida State, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi State, Missouri, Colorado, Auburn, and SMU.
DB Jermond McCoy
Oregon State Beavers
6’0″, 180 lbs.
McCoy was a 3rd Team All-PAC-12 selection after recording 31 tackles, two INTs, and seven pass breakups. Against Cal, McCoy made six tackles and picked off a pass.

McCoy has many offers, including Florida, West Virginia, Colorado, USC, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Auburn, Texas Tech, TCU, Houston, Louisville, Utah, Michigan State, SMU, Oregon, and Washington.
QB DeQuan Finn
Toledo Rockets
6’2″, 205 lbs.
Finn led the Rockets to an 11-2 record, winning 11 straight games en route to the MAC Championship Game vs Miami (OH). Finn was awarded the Vernon Smith Leadership Award as the top player in the Mid-American Conference. Of course, he was named to the 1st Team All-MAC.

Finn led the MAC in total offense (3,220 total yards), passing efficiency, completion percentage (63%), passing yards (2,657 yards), and touchdown passes (22). For his career, Finn has passed for nearly 7,000 yards, 63 touchdowns, and 23 INTs.
Where Finn could land is anybody’s guess. Potential destinations for Finn have been rumored to be Michigan (Finn is from Detroit), Wisconsin, Cincinnati, UCLA, Ohio State, Nebraska, and San Diego State.
WR Donaven McCulley
Indiana Hoosiers
6’5″, 200 lbs.
McCulley was the Hoosiers’ leading receiver this season with 48 catches for 644 yards and six touchdowns.

Against Illinois, McCulley hauled in 11 passes for 137 yards and two touchdowns in a three-point loss.
McCulley has received interest from Nebraska, Penn State, Michigan, Kentucky, and Florida.
