Thousands of college football players changed schools during the off-season. Here is a closer look at the top performances from 2022/2023 transfers during the Week 8 of college football action:

WR Malik Washington – Virginia (Northwestern)

Washington finished with 12 receptions for 115 yards and one touchdown during a 31-27 victory over North Carolina.

WR Devontez Walker – North Carolina (Kent State)

Walker finished with 11 receptions for 146 yards and one touchdown during a 31-27 loss to Virginia.

WR Xzavier Henderson – Cincinnati (Florida)

WR Kenneth Womack – Western Michigan (Sacred Heart)

Womack finished with 14 receptions for 90 yards and one touchdown during a 20-17 loss at Ohio.

WR Steven McBride – Hawaii (Kansas)

McBride finished with five receptions for 75 yards and two touchdowns during a 42-21 loss at New Mexico.

WR Will Pauling – Wisconsin (Cincinnati)

Pauling finished with seven receptions for 95 yards and one touchdown during a 25-21 victory at Illinois.

WR Tez Johnson – Oregon (Troy)

Johnson finished with six receptions for 94 yards and one touchdown during a 38-24 victory over Washington State. 

WR Kyle Williams – Washington State (UNLV)

Williams finished with five receptions for 102 yards during a 38-24 loss at Oregon.

WR Jeremiah Hixon – New Mexico (Alabama State)

Hixon finished with three receptions for a team-leading 62 yards and two touchdowns during a 42-21 victory over Hawaii.

WR EJ Horton – West Virginia (Marshall)

Horton finished with three receptions for 79 yards and one touchdown during a 48-34 loss to Oklahoma State.

WR Zach Dobson – Middle Tennessee State (Tennessee State)

Dobson finished with two receptions for 82 yards and one touchdown during a 42-35 loss at Liberty.

WR Corey Rucker – Arkansas State (South Carolina)

Rucker finished with four receptions for 104 yards during a 27-17 loss to Coastal Carolina.

QB JT Daniels – Rice (West Virginia)

Daniels completed 24 of 37 passes for 342 yards and two touchdowns during a 42-10 victory at Tulsa. He also had a rushing touchdown.

QB Thomas Castellanos – Boston College (UCF)

Castellanos completed 17 of 29 passes for 255 yards and rushed for 128 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries during a 38-23 victory at Georgia Tech.

QB Donovan Smith – Houston (Texas Tech)

Smith completed 32 of 46 passes for 378 yards, three touchdowns and one interception during a 31-24 loss to Texas.

QB Tony Muskett – Virginia (Monmouth)

Muskett completed 20 of 30 passes for 208 yards, one touchdown and one interception, while also rushing for 66 yards on 12 carries during a 31-27 victory over North Carolina.

QB Grant Wilson – Old Dominion (Fordham)

Wilson completed 18 of 25 passes for 188 yards and one touchdown during a 28-21 victory over Appalachian State.

QB Chandler Rogers – North Texas (Louisiana-Monroe)

Rogers completed 35 of 51 passes for 343 yards and two touchdowns during a 35-28 loss at Tulane. He also rushed for 34 yards.

QB Emory Jones – Cincinnati (Arizona State)

Jones completed 19 of 30 passes for 162 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 56 yards during a 32-29 loss to Baylor.

QB Hayden Wolff – Western Michigan (Old Dominion)

Wolff completed 30 of 42 passes for 290 yards, one touchdown and one interception during a 20-17 loss at Ohio. He also rushed for 23 yards and one touchdown.

QB Jalon Jones – Charlotte (Bethune-Cookman)

Jones completed 11 of 18 passes for 144 yards and rushed for 127 yards and one touchdown on 26 carries during a 10-7 victory at East Carolina.

QB Luke Altmyer – Illinois (Ole Miss)

Altmyer completed 13 of 21 passes for 100 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for a team-high 100 yards on 16 carries during a 25-21 loss to Wisconsin.

QB Christian Veilleux – Pittsburgh (Penn State)

Veilleux completed 28 of 45 passes for 302 yards and two touchdowns during a 21-17 loss at Wake Forest.

QB Dylan Hopkins – New Mexico (UAB)

Hopkins completed 20 of 25 passes for 202 yards and three touchdowns during a 42-21 victory over Hawaii.

RB Carson Steele – UCLA (Ball State)

Steele rushed 76 yards and three touchdowns on 20 carries during a 42-7 victory at Stanford.

RB Quinton Cooley – Liberty (Wake Forest)

Cooley rushed for 134 yards and three touchdowns on 24 carries during a 42-35 victory over Middle Tennessee State.

RB Blake Watson – Memphis (Old Dominion)

Watson rushed for 125 yards and one touchdown on 21 carries and added three receptions for 15 yards during a 45-21 victory over UAB.

RB MarShawn Lloyd – USC (South Carolina)

Lloyd rushed for 86 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries during a 35-32 loss to Utah.

RB Treshaun Ward – Kansas State (Florida State)

Ward rushed for 89 yards on 17 carries and had three receptions for 17 yards and one touchdown during a 41-3 victory over TCU.

RB Nay’Quan Wright – USF (Florida)

Wright rushed 186 yards and two touchdowns on 26 carries during a 24-21 victory at UConn.

RB Marquez Cooper – Ball State (Kent State)

Cooper rushed for 162 yards and one touchdown on 26 carries during a 24-17 victory over Central Michigan.

RB Andrew Henry – New Mexico (Louisiana-Monroe)

Henry rushed for 112 yards and one touchdown on 13 carries during a 42-21 victory over Hawaii.

RB Quali Conley – San Jose State (Utah Tech)

Conley rushed for 74 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries during a 42-21 victory over Utah State. He also had two receptions for 20 yards.

TE Dallin Holker – Colorado State (BYU)

Holker had four receptions for a team-high 80 yards during a 25-23 loss to UNLV.

TE Jaheim Bell – Florida State (South Carolina)

Bell finished with eight receptions for 53 yards during a 38-20 victory over Duke.

TE Caden Prieskorn – Ole Miss (Memphis)

Prieskorn finished with two receptions for 63 yards during a 28-21 victory over Auburn.

TE AJ Barner – Michigan (Indiana)

Barner finished with eight receptions for 99 yards and one touchdown during a 49-0 victory at Michigan State

TE Rivaldo Fairweather – Auburn (Florida International)

Fairweather finished with five receptions for 31 yards and one touchdown during a 28-21 loss to Ole Miss.

DL Eyabi Okie-Anoma – Charlotte (Michigan)

Okie-Anoma finished with seven tackles, 1.5 tackles for a loss and one sack during a 10-7 victory at East Carolina.

LB Dasan McCullough – Oklahoma (Indiana)

McCullough finished with six tackles, one tackle for a loss and one pass breakup during a 31-29 victory over UCF.

LB Jeremiah Jean-Baptiste – Ole Miss (UCF)

Jean-Baptiste finished with a team-high seven tackles and two tackles for a loss during a 28-21 victory over Auburn.

LB Gaethan Bernadel – Stanford (Florida International)

Bernadel finished with 12 tackles and one tackle for a loss during a 42-7 loss to UCLA.

LB Omar Speights – LSU (Oregon State)

Speights finished with a team-high nine tackles during a 62-0 victory over Army.

LB Byron Vaughns – Baylor (Utah State)

Vaughns finished with six tackles, two tackles for a loss and returned a fumble 15 yards for a touchdown during a 32-29 victory at Cincinnati.

LB Larry Nixon – Auburn (North Texas)

Nixon finished with a team-high eight tackles during a 28-21 loss to Ole Miss.

LB Mason Cobb – USC (Oklahoma State)

Cobb finished with a team-high nine tackles during a 34-32 loss to Utah.

LB Demetrius Wright – Charlotte (Georgia Tech)

Wright finished with nine tackles, two tackles for a loss and two pass breakups during a 10—7 victory at East Carolina.

LB Jacob Roberts – Wake Forest (North Carolina A&T)

Roberts finished with nine tackles and one tackle for a loss during a 21-17 victory over Pittsburgh.

LB Joe Andreessen – Buffalo (Bryant)

Andreessen finished with nine tackles, one tackle for a loss and one sack during a 24-6 victory at Kent State.

LB K.J. Cloyd – Miami-Florida (Louisville)

Cloyd finished with six tackles, one tackle for a loss, one sack and one pass breakup during a 27-20 double overtime victory over Clemson.

LB Francisco Mauigoa – Miami-Florida (Washington State)

Mauigoa finished with six tackles, two tackles for a loss and one sack during a 27-20 double overtime victory over Clemson.

DB Jabbar Muhammad – Washington (Oklahoma State)

Muhammad finished with seven tackle and two tackles for a loss during a 15-7 victory over Arizona State.

DB Evan Williams – Oregon (Fresno State)

Williams finished with 14 tackles, one tackle for a loss and one sack during a 38-24 victory over Washington State.

DB Donovan McMillon – Pittsburgh (Florida)

McMillon finished with a team-high eight tackles during a 21-17 loss at Wake Forest.

DB Clayton Isbell – Coastal Carolina (Utah)

Isbell finished with seven tackles and two pass breakups during a 27-17 victory over Arkansas State.

DB Eddie Heckard – BYU (Weber State)

Heckard finished with four tackles, one pass breakup, one interception and one fumble recovery, which he returned for a touchdown, during a 27-14 victory over Texas Tech. 

DB Beanie Bishop – West Virginia (Minnesota)

Bishop finished with six tackles and four pass breakups during a 48-34 loss to Oklahoma State.

DB Anthony Wilson – West Virginia (Georgia Southern)

Wilson finished with a team-high eight tackles and one interception during a 48-34 loss to Oklahoma State.
