WINNERS
Oklahoma
The Sooners got a huge win vs rival Texas last Saturday, and they did it in a way that hasn’t been done at Oklahoma in a while. They played great defense. The Sooners got after Texas all day and didn’t let them get any momentum going. QB Dillon Gabriel also had a great game. The Sooners are now a title contender in a lot of people’s eyes. Oklahoma will take on UCF next.

Louisville
Louisville is a team that came out of nowhere. Jeff Brohm came over to his Alma Mater from Purdue and has immediately turned things around. He brought quarterback Jack Plummer from California and he has looked good thus far. Louisville just beat Notre Dame and now has Pittsburgh up next.

Georgia
Georgia, and specifically their offense, finally came alive on Saturday vs. Kentucky. They played a solid four quarters for the first time all season. Carson Beck built off his game vs Auburn and went off for 389 yards and four touchdowns. I believe this will silence some of the doubters, at least for now. People should see that Georgia is still the standard.

UCLA
The Bruins are quietly having a very good year. They are 4-1 coming off a win over previously undefeated Washington State. They are led by Freshman QB Dante Moore, who is running that Chip Kelly offense well. They of course still have the gauntlet Pac-12 schedule with Oregon State next on their slate. They also have a trip to USC in the middle of November.

LOSERS
Miami
I could go off right now, but I’m not going to. Everyone else already has. I just feel bad for the players. What happened at the end of the Georgia Tech game is inexcusable. Mario Cristobal, you HAVE to take that knee. Also, how do you not have your prevent defense out there? Christian Leary, the Georgia Tech receiver was five yards behind the closest defender. That was one of the wildest and most head-scratching endings I’ve ever seen.

Notre Dame
The Irish now have two losses and are all but out of the Playoff conversation. They had a good start, but have fallen short against their two toughest opponents so far. Their schedule doesn’t get any easier either. They have USC this week and still need to take a trip to Clemson later this season. Notre Dame could be looking at four regular-season losses by the end of it.
