2024 recruiting is flying towards the early signing period. Here are the most important wide receiver commitments so far, in my humble opinion.
1. Micah Hudson to Texas Tech
— The Red Raiders are struggling on the field, but landing a 5-star in-state WR has the fan base excited.

2. Gatlin Bair to Boise State
— A Group of Five team keeping the most dynamic in-state player ever home is a massive deal.

3. Mike Matthews to Tennessee
— The offense is attractive, and it shows as Matthews is a major pull from Georgia for Josh Heupel.

4. Bryant Wesco to Clemson
— Clemson needs to get back to landing and developing elite WRs, and Wesco is a good start.

5. Jeremiah Smith to Ohio State
— I know the Buckeyes get elite receivers all the time these days, but I’m not going to ignore the best WR in the country from South Florida choosing to head to Columbus. It’s amazing.

6. Cam Coleman to Texas A&M
— To go into Alabama and get a 5-star WR is huge for Jimbo Fisher as recruiting is heating up for the Aggies.

7. Ric’Darious Farmer to UCF
— This was a massive flip from Pitt as the Panthers’ offense faltered, and Gus Malzahn landed a massive commit as recruiting picks up as a Power Five program.

8. Joshisa Trader to Miami
— A massive get from South Florida at a school the ‘Canes must have success at. They are in much better shape at Chaminade-Madonna, with Kevin Beard working his magic.

9. Aaron Butler to Colorado
— Deion Sanders needs more and more recruiting wins like this, as Butler is a difference-maker.

10. Lawayne McCoy to Florida State
— FSU is beefing up WR recruiting, and this is a great one from South Florida.
