Thousands of college football players changed schools during the off-season. Here is a closer look at the top performances from 2022/2023 transfers during the Week 5 of college football action:

RB Ray Davis – Kentucky (Vanderbilt)

Davis rushed for 280 yards and three touchdowns on 26 carries during a 33-14 victory over Florida. He also had one reception for nine yards, which went for another touchdown.

RB Blake Watson – Memphis (Old Dominion)

Watson rushed for 113 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries during a 35-32 victory over Boise State. He also had two receptions for 20 yards.

RB Dillon Johnson – Washington (Mississippi State)

Johnson rushed for a team-high 91 yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries during a 31-24 victory at Arizona.

RB Logan Diggs – LSU (Notre Dame)

Diggs rushed for 101 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries during a 55-49 loss to Ole Miss. He also had two receptions for 22 yards.

RB Cameron Skattebo – Arizona State (Sacramento State)

Skattebo rushed for 59 yards and one touchdown and had four receptions for a team-leading 98 yards during a 24-21 loss to Cal.

RB Jaylan Knighton – SMU (Miami-Florida)

Knighton rushed for 150 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries during a 34-16 victory over Charlotte.

RB Malik Jackson – Jacksonville State (Louisiana-Monroe)

Jackson rushed for 129 yards and one touchdown on 13 carries during a 35-28 victory over Sam Houston.

RB Nathan Carter – Michigan State (UConn)

Carter rushed for 108 yards on 20 carries during a 26-16 loss at Iowa.

RB Tyre Shelton – Louisiana Tech (Miami-Ohio)

Shelton rushed for 104 yards and on touchdown on 16 carries during a 24-10 victory over UTEP.

RB Harrison Waylee – Wyoming (Northern Illinois)

Waylee rushed for 191 yards and one touchdown on 18 carries during a 35-26 victory over New Mexico.

RB Bhayshul Tuten – Virginia Tech (North Carolina A&T)

Tuten rushed for 109 yards on 24 carries during a 38-21 victory over Pittsburgh.

RB Mario Anderson – South Carolina (D2 Newberry)

Anderson rushed for a team-high 101 yards and one touchdown on 10 carries during a 41-20 loss at Tennessee.

RB Donavyn Lester – UNLV (William & Mary)

Lester finished with a team-high 98 yards and one touchdown on 12 carries during a 44-20 victory over Hawaii.

QB Mikey Keene – Fresno State (UCF)

Keene completed 26 of 34 passes for 269 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions during a 27-9 victory over Nevada.

QB Shedeur Sanders – Colorado (Jackson State)

Sanders completed 30 of 45 passes for 371 yards, four touchdowns and one interception during a 48-41 loss to USC. He also rushed for 50 yards and one touchdown.

QB TJ Finley – Texas State (Auburn)

Finley completed 19 of 24 passes for 338 yards and two touchdowns during a 50-36 victory over Southern Miss.

QB Thomas Castellanos – Boston College (UCF)

Castellanos completed 16 of 26 passes for 183 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions during a 27-24 victory over Virginia. He also rushed for 78 yards on 16 carries.

QB Graham Mertz – Florida (Wisconsin)

Mertz completed 25 of 30 passes for 244 yards, two touchdowns and one interception during a 33-14 loss at Kentucky.

QB Hudson Card – Purdue (Texas)

Card completed 18 of 26 passes for 217 yards and two touchdowns during a 44-19 victory over Illinois.

QB Connor Bazelak – Bowling Green (Indiana)

Bazelak completed 21 of 32 passes for 263 yards and one touchdown during a 38-27 victory at Georgia Tech. He also had a rushing touchdown.

QB Haynes King – Georgia Tech (Texas A&M)

King completed 23 of 37 passes for 348 yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions during a 38-27 loss to Bowling Green.

QB Kyron Drones – Virginia Tech (Baylor)

Drones completed 12 of 19 passes for 228 yards and three touchdowns during a 38-21 victory over Pittsburgh. He also rushed for 41 yards and two touchdowns.

QB Davis Brin – Georgia Southern (Tulsa)

Brin completed 34 of 56 passes for 322 yards and three touchdowns during a 38-28 victory over Coastal Carolina.

QB Logan Smothers – Jacksonville State (Nebraska)

Smothers completed 16 of 28 passes for 197 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 37 yards and another touchdown during a 35-28 victory over Sam Houston.

QB Chandler Rogers – North Texas (Louisiana-Monroe)

Rogers completed 23 of 36 passes for 321 yards and three touchdowns during a 45-31 victory over Abilene Christian. He also rushed for 29 yards and a touchdown.

QB Emory Jones – Cincinnati (Arizona State)

Jones completed 23 of 37 passes for 256 yards, three touchdowns and one interception, while also rushing for a team-high 94 yards during a 35-27 loss at BYU.

QB Tony Muskett – Virginia (Monmouth)

Muskett completed 22 of 34 passes for 247 yards, three touchdowns and one interception during a 27-24 loss at Boston College.

QB Taisun Phommachanh – UMass (Georgia Tech)

Phommachanh completed 29 of 38 passes for 269 yards, one touchdown and one interception during a 52-28 loss to Arkansas State.

WR Jimmy Horn Jr. – Colorado (USF)

Horn finished with seven receptions for 84 yards and two touchdowns during a 48-41 loss to USC.

WR Germie Bernard – Washington (Michigan State)

Bernard had a team-high eight receptions for 98 yards and added 12 rushing yards and a touchdown on the ground during a 31-24 victory at Arizona.

WR Tre Harris – Ole Miss (Louisiana Tech)

Harris had a team-high eight receptions for 153 yards and one touchdown during a 55-49 victory over LSU. 

WR Adonai Mitchell – Texas (Georgia)

Mitchell finished with 10 receptions for 141 yards and one touchdown during a 40-14 victory over Kansas.

WR Jaelen Gill – Fresno State (Boston College)

Gill finished with a team-high eight receptions for 126 yards and two touchdowns during a 27-9 victory over Nevada.

WR Andrew Armstrong – Arkansas (Texas A&M-Commerce)

Armstrong finished with three receptions for 78 yards and one touchdown during a 34-22 loss to Texas A&M.

WR Jayden Higgins – Iowa State (Eastern Kentucky)

Higgins had three receptions for a team-high 91 yards and one touchdown during a 50-20 loss to Oklahoma.

WR Steven McBride – Hawaii (Kansas)

McBride finished with six receptions for 180 yards and one touchdown during a 44-20 loss at UNLV.

WR Theo Wease – Missouri (Oklahoma)

Wease finished with 10 receptions for 118 yards and one touchdown during a 38-21 victory over Vanderbilt.

WR John Paul Richardson – TCU (Oklahoma State)

Richardson had three receptions for 87 yards and one touchdown during a 24-21 loss to West Virginia.

WR Jack Hestera – Charlotte (Colorado)

Hestera had a team-high seven receptions for 81 yards and one touchdown during a 34-16 loss at SMU.

WR Dominick Blaylock – Georgia Tech (Georgia)

Blaylock finished with seven receptions for 131 yards during a 38-27 loss to Bowling Green.

WR Da’Quan Felton – Virginia Tech (Norfolk State)

Felton finished with four receptions for 81 yards and one touchdown during a 38-21 victory over Pittsburgh.

WR Elijah Sarratt – James Madison (St. Francis-PA)

Sarratt had five receptions for 92 yards and one touchdown during a 31-23 victory over South Alabama.

WR Demeer Blankumsee – Memphis (Toledo)

Blankumsee finished with four receptions for 83 yards and one touchdown during a 35-32 victory over Boise State.

WR Chase Sowell – East Carolina (Colorado)

Sowell finished with a team-high seven receptions for 88 yards during a 24-17 loss at Rice.

WR Joey Hobert – Texas State (Utah Tech)

Hobert had 10 receptions for 126 yards and one touchdown during a 50-36 victory over Southern Miss.

WR Malik Washington – Virginia (Northwestern)

Washington finished with nine receptions for 97 yards and one touchdown during a 27-24 loss at Boston College.

TE Trey Knox – South Carolina (Arkansas)

Knox had a team-high seven receptions for 51 yards during a 41-20 loss at Tennessee.

TE Erick All – Iowa (Michigan)

All had a team-high four receptions for 67 yards and one touchdown during a 26-16 victory over Michigan State.

TE Dallin Holker – Colorado State (BYU)

Holker had four receptions for 94 yards and one touchdown during a 41-20 victory over Utah Tech.

DL George Rooks – Boston College (Michigan)

Rooks finished with five tackles, 1.5 tackles for a loss and 1.5 sacks during a 27-24 victory over Virginia.

DL Josaiah Stewart – Michigan (Coastal Carolina)

Stewart finished with five tackles, two tackles for a loss and two sacks during a 45-7 victory at Nebraska.

DL Coleman Coco – Rice (Colgate)

Coco finished with eight tackles and 1.5 tackles for a loss during a 24-17 victory over East Carolina.

DL Eyabi Okie-Anoma – Charlotte (Michigan)

Okie-Anoma finished with four tackles, two tackles for a loss and two sacks during a 34-16 loss at SMU.

LB Nick Jackson – Iowa (Virginia)

Jackson finished with 10 tackles and one tackle for a loss during a 26-16 victory over Michigan State.

LB Nikhai Hill-Green – Charlotte (Michigan)

Hill-Green finished with a team-high 11 tackles and one tackle for a loss during a 34-16 loss at SMU.

LB Harrison Taggart – BYU (Oregon)

Taggart finished with 10 tackles during a 35-27 victory over Cincinnati.

LB Larry Nixon III – Auburn (North Texas)

Nixon finished with a team-high eight tackles and one tackle for a loss during a 27-20 loss to Georgia.

LB Andrew Mata’afa – USF (Utah)

Mata’afa finished with 10 tackles, one tackle for a loss and one sack during a 44-30 victory over Navy.

LB Quae Drake – Jacksonville State (Louisiana-Monroe)

Drake finished with 10 tackles, 1.5 tackles for a loss and two pass breakups during a 35-28 victory over Sam Houston.

LB Kobe Wilson – SMU (Temple)

Wilson had a team-high 10 tackles during a 34-16 victory over Charlotte.

LB Donald Willis – Western Michigan (Minnesota)

Willis finished with seven tackles, two tackles for a loss and two sacks during a 42-24 victory over Ball State.

LB Chandler Martin – Memphis (East Tennessee State)

Martin finished with a team-high nine tackles, two tackles for a loss and one sack during a 35-32 victory over Boise State.

LB Mason Cobb – USC (Oklahoma State)

Cobb had a team-high 13 tackles, two tackles for a loss and one pass breakup during a 48-41 victory over Colorado.
