Thousands of college football players changed schools during the off-season. Here is a closer look at the top performances from 2022/2023 transfers during the Week 1 of college football action:

QB Shedeur Sanders – Colorado (Jackson State)

Sanders completed 38 of 47 passes for 510 yards and four touchdowns during a 45-42 victory at TCU.

QB Brennan Armstrong – NC State (Virginia)

Armstrong completed 17 of 26 passes for 155 yards and rushed for 96 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries during a 24-14 victory over UConn.

QB Cade McNamara – Iowa (Michigan)

QB Mikey Keene – Fresno State (UCF)

Keene completed 31 of 44 passes for 366 yards, four touchdowns and 1 interception during a 39-35 victory at Purdue.

QB Hudson Card – Purdue (Texas)

Card completed 17 of 30 passes for 254 yards and two touchdowns during a 39-35 loss to Fresno State. He also added 29 yards rushing.

QB Jack Plummer – Louisville (Cal)

Plummer completed 18 of 31 passes for 247 yards, three touchdowns and one interception during a 39-34 victory at Georgia Tech. He also rushed for 51 yards on nine carries.

QB Emory Jones – Cincinnati (Arizona State)

Jones completed 19 of 23 passes for 345 yards and five touchdowns, and rushed for 26 yards and two touchdowns, during a 66-13 victory over Eastern Kentucky.

QB Devin Leary – Kentucky (NC State)

Leary completed 18 of 31 passes for 241 yards, one touchdown and one interception during a 44-14 victory over Ball State.

QB TJ Finley – Texas State (Auburn)

Finley completed 22 of 30 passes for 298 yards and three touchdowns, while rushing for 18 yards and one touchdown, during a 42-31 victory at Baylor.

QB Donovan Smith – Houston (Texas Tech)

Smith completed 22 of 34 passes for 233 yards and two touchdowns during a 17-14 victory over UTSA. He also rushed for 31 yards.

QB DJ Uiagalelei – Oregon State (Clemson)

Uiagalelei completed 20 of 25 passes for 239 yards and three touchdowns during a 42-17 victory San Jose State. He also had two rushing touchdowns during the victory.

QB Billy Wiles – Southern Miss (Clemson)

Wiles completed 21 of 28 passes for 267 yards, three touchdowns and one interception during a 40-14 victory over Alcorn State.

QB Graham Mertz – Florida (Wisconsin)

During a 24-11 loss at Utah, Mertz completed 31 of 44 passes for 333 yards, one touchdown and one interception.

QB Casey Thompson – FAU (Nebraska)

Thompson completed 20 of 25 passes for 280 yards, five touchdowns and one interception during a 42-20 victory over Monmouth.

QB Phil Jurkovec – Pittsburgh (Boston College)

Jurkovec completed 17 of 23 passes for 214 yards and one touchdown, and rushed for 41 yards and one touchdown, during a 45-7 victory over Wofford.

QB Ben Finley – Cal (NC State)

Finley completed 24 of 34 passes for 279 yards, one touchdown and one interception during a 58-21 victory over North Texas.

QB Haynes King – Georgia Tech (Texas A&M)

King completed 19 of 32 passes for 313 yards, three touchdowns and one interception during a 39-34 loss to Louisville. He also rushed for a team-high 53 yards on 10 carries.

QB Davis Brin – Georgia Southern (Tulsa)

Brin completed 27 of 36 passes for 244 yards, two touchdowns and one interception during a 34-0 victory over The Citadel.

QB Luke Altmyer – Illinois (Ole Miss)

Altmyer completed 18 of 26 passes for 211 yards, two touchdowns and one interception during a 30-28 victory over Toledo. He also rushed for 69 yards on nine carries.

QB Hank Bachmeier – Louisiana Tech (Boise State)

Bachmeier completed 21 of 33 passes for 241 yards, one touchdown and one interception during a 38-14 loss to SMU.

QB Logan Smothers – Jacksonville State (Nebraska)

Smothers completed 13 of 17 passes for 127 yards and one touchdown, and rushed for 40 yards and two touchdowns, during a 49-3 victory over East Tennessee State.

ATH Travis Hunter – Colorado (Jackson State)

Hunter had 11 receptions for 119 yards on offense and three tackles, one pass breakup and one interception on defense during a 45-42 victory over TCU.

RB Nathan Carter – Michigan State (UConn)

Carter rushed for 113 yards and one touchdown on 18 carries during a 31-7 victory over Central Michigan.

RB MarShawn Lloyd – USC (South Carolina)

Lloyd rushed for 76 yards and one touchdown on seven carries and had two receptions for 59 yards during a 66-14 victory over Nevada.

RB Re’Mahn Davis – Kentucky (Vanderbilt)

Davis rushed for 112 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries during a 44-14 victory over Ball State.

RB Cameron Skattebo – Arizona State (Sacramento State)

Skattebo rushed for 71 yards and one touchdown on 17 carries and had four receptions for 41 yards during a 24-21 victory over Southern Utah.

RB LJ Johnson Jr. – SMU (Texas A&M)

Johnson rushed for 128 yards and one touchdown on 14 carries during a 38-14 victory over Louisiana Tech.

RB Trey Sanders – TCU (Alabama)

Sanders rushed for 46 yards and three touchdowns on 15 carries during a 45-42 loss to Colorado.

RB Trevion Cooley – Georgia Tech (Louisville)

Cooley rushed for 52 yards and two touchdowns on nine carries during a 39-34 loss to Louisville.

RB Carson Steele – UCLA (Ball State)

Steele rushed for 76 yards on 13 carries and had four receptions for 20 yards and one touchdown during a 27-13 victory over Coastal Carolina.

RB Isaiah Ifanse – Cal (San Jose State)

Ifanse rushed for 54 yards and three touchdowns on 10 carries during a 58-21 victory over North Texas.

RB Malik Jackson – Jacksonville State (Louisiana-Monroe)

Jackson rushed for 100 yards and one touchdown on 12 carries during a 49-3 victory over East Tennessee State.

RB Nay’Quan Wright – USF (Florida)

Wright rushed for 111 yards on 17 carries, and had two receptions for 10 yards, during a 41-24 loss to Western Kentucky.

WR Keon Coleman – Florida State (Michigan State)

Coleman had nine receptions for 122 yards and three touchdowns during a 45-24 victory over LSU.

WR Tre Harris – Ole Miss (Louisiana Tech)

Harris finished with six receptions for 133 yards and four touchdowns during a 73-7 victory over Mercer.

WR Jamari Thrash – Louisville (Georgia State)

Thrash had a team-high seven receptions for 88 yards and two touchdowns during a 39-34 victory at Georgia Tech.

WR J. Michael Sturdivant – UCLA (Cal)

Sturdivant finished with five receptions for 136 yards and one touchdown during a 27-13 victory over Coastal Carolina.

WR Xzavier Henderson – Cincinnati (Florida)

Henderson had seven receptions for 149 yards and one touchdown during a 66-13 victory over Eastern Kentucky.

WR Ali Jennings – Virginia Tech (Old Dominion)

Jennings finished with a team-high five receptions for 72 yards and two touchdowns during a 36-17 victory over Old Dominion.

WR Jaylin Lane – Virginia Tech (Middle Tennessee State)

Lane had four receptions for 69 yards and one touchdown during a 36-17 victory over Old Dominion.

WR Gary Bryant Jr. – Oregon (USC)

Bryant finished with seven receptions for 100 yards and two touchdowns during an 81-7 victory over Portland State.

WR Kevin Coleman – Louisville (Jackson State)

Coleman finished with three receptions for 66 yards and one touchdown during a 39-34 victory over Georgia Tech.

WR Xavier Guillory – Arizona State (Idaho State)

Guillory had five receptions for 73 yards and one touchdown during a 24-21 victory over Southern Utah.

WR Jaelen Gill – Fresno State (Boston College)

Gill had eight receptions for 65 yards and one touchdown during a 39-35 victory at Purdue.

WR Jordan Hudson – SMU (TCU)

Hudson finished with two receptions for 72 yards and one touchdown during a 38-14 victory over Louisiana Tech.

WR Corey Crooms – Minnesota (Western Michigan)

Crooms had seven receptions for 63 yards during a 13-10 victory over Nebraska.

WR Anthony Simpson – UMass (Arizona)

Simpson finished with four receptions for 89 yards and one touchdown during a 59-14 loss at Auburn.

WR Josh Kelly – Washington State (Fresno State)

Kelly had seven receptions for 97 yards and one touchdown during a 50-24 victory over Colorado State.

WR Joey Hobert – Texas State (Utah Tech)

Hobert had six receptions for 105 yards and one touchdown during a 42-31 victory at Baylor.

WR Ty Robinson – Ball State (Colorado)

Robinson finished with five receptions for 90 yards and one touchdown during a 44-14 loss at Kentucky.

WR Devin Carter – West Virginia (NC State)

Carter finished with six receptions for 90 yards during a 38-15 loss at Penn State.

WR Gage Larvadain – Miami-Ohio (Southeastern Louisiana)

Larvadain finished with eight receptions for 80 yards during a 38-3 loss at Miami-Florida

WR Demeer Blankumsee – Memphis (Toledo)

Blankumsee finished with six receptions for 98 yards and one touchdown during a 56-14 victory over Bethune-Cookman.

WR Chase Lane – Georgia Tech (Texas A&M)

Lane had three receptions for 69 yards and one touchdown during a 39-34 loss to Louisville.

WR Andrew Armstrong – Arkansas (Texas A&M-Commerce)

Armstrong had five receptions for 78 yards and one touchdown during a 56-13 victory over Western Carolina.

WR Malik McClain – Penn State (Florida State)

McClain finished with four receptions for 58 yards and one touchdown during a 38-15 victory over West Virginia.

TE Jaheim Bell – Florida State (South Carolina)

Bell had two receptions for 49 yards and one touchdown, and added a rushing touchdown, during a 45-24 victory over LSU.

TE Cade Conley – Marshall (Central Michigan)

Conley had seven receptions for 79 yards during a 21-17 victory over Albany.

DL Ben Kopenski – Tulsa (Oklahoma State)

Kopenski finished with 10 tackles, 2.5 tackles for a loss and two sacks during a 42-7 victory over Arkansas-Pine Bluff.

DL Elijah Roberts – SMU (Miami-Florida)

Roberts finished with four tackles, two tackles for a loss and one sack during a 38-14 victory over Louisiana Tech.

DL Antwaun Powell-Ryland – Virginia Tech (Florida)

Powell-Ryland had a team-high six tackles, two tackles for a loss, two sacks and a forced fumble during a 36-17 victory over Old Dominion.

Bratton finished with a team-high 12 tackles, to go along with two tackles for a loss and two sacks, during a 35-6 victory over North Carolina A&T.

LB Jaheim Thomas – Arkansas (Cincinnati)

Thomas finished with a team-high eight tackles, along with 1.5 tackles for a loss and one pass breakup, during a 56-13 victory over Western Carolina.

LB Omar Speights – LSU (Oregon State)

Speights finished with eight tackles during a 45-24 loss to Florida State.

LB Ja’Terious Evans – Louisiana-Monroe (Stephen F. Austin)

Evans had a team-high eight tackles and two tackles for a loss during a 17-14 victory over Army.

LB Devin Richardson – Washington State (Texas)

Richardson finished with a team-high 11 tackles, and added one tackle for a loss, during a 50-24 victory over Colorado State.

LB Tate Romney – Arizona State (BYU)

Romney had eight tackles during a 24-21 victory over Southern Utah.

LB Jackson Woodard – UNLV (Arkansas)

Nicholson totaled 13 tackles and two tackles for a loss during a 56-6 loss at UCF.

LB Ernest Hausmann – Michigan (Nebrask)

Hausmann had a team-high six tackles, plus one tackle for a loss, during a 30-3 victory over East Carolina.

LB Nikhai Hill-Green – Charlotte (Michigan)

Hill-Green finished with seven tackles, one tackle for a loss and one pass breakup during a 24-3 victory over South Carolina State.

DB Clayton Isbell – Coastal Carolina (Utah)

Isbell finished with a team-high nine tackles and three interceptions during a 27-13 loss at UCLA.

DB Josh DeBerry – Texas A&M (Boston College)

DeBerry had a team-leading 10 tackles, to go along with 1.5 tackles for a loss, one sack, one interception and one pass breakup, during a 52-10 victory over New Mexico.

DB Tre’Von Jones – Minnesota (Elon)

Jones finished with a team-high nine tackles, and added one interception and one pass breakup, during a 13-10 victory over Nebraska.

DB Shilo Sanders – Colorado (Jackson State)

Sanders finished with a team-high 10 tackles during a 45-42 victory at TCU.

DB DeJordan Mask – UCF (Texas State)

Mask finished with two tackles and one interception during a 56-6 victory over Kent State.

DB Demarcus Rankins – Wake Forest (Notre Dame College)

Rankin had two tackles and one interception during a 37-17 victory over Elon.

DB Jaylen Key – Alabama (UAB)

Key finished with four tackles and one interception during a 56-7 victory over Middle Tennessee State.

DB Beanie Bishop – West Virginia (Minnesota)

Bishop finished with seven tackles, one tackle for a loss and one pass breakup during a 38-15 loss at Penn State.

DB Dean Clark – Fresno State (Kent State)

Clark finished with a team-high seven tackles and added a pass breakup during a 39-35 victory at Purdue.

DB Jaheim Singletary – Arkansas (Georgia)

Singletary finished with six tackles and one tackle for a loss during a 56-13 victory over Western Carolina.
