Luke Brumm's Final "Preseason" Top 25

I know that week 0 has happened already, but only two ranked teams played. I did take their performances into consideration, however, so that is why there are the quotes around “Preseason”. With that out of the way, let’s take a look.

Georgia remains in the top spot in my newest rankings.

The only change in my top ten is USC dropped one spot. Obviously, Caleb Williams and Zachariah Branch looked really impressive, but that defense let up nearly 30 points to San Jose State. They need to get that defense straightened out if they want to compete with the big boys.

USC Freshman WR Zachariah Branch looked really good in their week 0 game vs SJSU.

I was really interested to see how Sam Hartman played, and he looked really good. I bumped Notre Dame up a couple of spots due to that. The only other change I had was moving Utah back a few spots. This was due to the recent news that quarterback Cam Rising will not play vs. Florida on Thursday. I’m concerned that he won’t be available for a couple of weeks. This is my final top 25 before week 1 kicks off, I will be updating it weekly so keep an eye out!
