The anticipation for the College Football season is finally over, and it’s set to be a memorable one, with Playoff expansion and conference realignment on the horizon at the end of this year. Let’s jump into the most pivotal games of the upcoming 2023-2024 season.

LSU vs. FSU – September 3rd

Kicking off the season with a top-10 showdown in week 1 is a football fan’s dream come true. Both FSU and LSU outperformed expectations last year, generating immense preseason hype.

As both the Tigers and the Seminoles are trying to make their case for a spot in the playoffs, having this game as a win on your resume could go a long way in the eyes of the committee. With star quarterbacks Jayden Daniels and Jordan Travis returning, we can expect a high-octane clash.

Texas vs. Alabama – September 9th

Texas embarks on its Big 12 farewell tour as it gets an early taste of what life in the SEC is like as they travel to Tuscaloosa in week 2. This game offers Texas to not only show they belong with the big dogs but also to vault themselves as title contenders this season.

On the other hand, Alabama seeks to silence doubters, especially regarding their quarterback situation post Bryce Young’s NFL departure. Much like  LSU vs. FSU, this is a game where a win would immensely boost a team’s resume.
