WR Bryson Green – Wisconsin (Oklahoma State)
The skinny: The Badgers have a long history of running backs and offensive linemen, but explosive wide receivers have been far-and-few between, especially in recent years. However, with a new coaching regime in place, and a much more open offense under coordinator Phil Longo, Green has quickly established himself as a big-play threat. He has also developed a strong relationship with follow incoming transfer quarterback Tanner Mordecai, which should make his transition to Madison go even more smoothly.
WR Andrew Armstrong – Arkansas (Texas A&M-Commerce)
The skinny: One can make an argument that fellow transfer wide receiver Isaac TeSlaa, who has also impressed, should be on this list, but for today that honor goes to Armstrong. Coming from a small FCS program, it took Armstrong a bit of time to get adjusted to the speed of the SEC during the spring, but upon his return for summer camp he has shown more confidence. With that new confidence, he has been able to showcase all of his skills while also strengthening a growing connection with quarterback KJ Jefferson, which could lead to big things this fall.
LB Jalen McLeod – Auburn (Appalachian State)
The skinny: While several linebackers and edge rushers were brought in through the portal since coach Hugh Freeze’s arrival at Auburn, it is McLeod who has created the most buzz in camp. It has been the loudest and most consistent buzz as he continues to make plays, while catching the attention of several coaches. Look for him to be placed in playmaking positions, as he has already proven to have a talent to get into the backfield, both at Appalachian State and already with the Tigers.

WR Theo Wease – Missouri (Oklahoma)
The skinny: Wease joined an already talented wide receiving group at Missouri but has still managed to stand out during the first week of practice. With three solid seasons at Oklahoma under his belt, he is using that experience to make a name for himself, while also helping the younger receivers, like star Luther Burden. Early signs are that Wease will be a very valuable addition both on and off the field.
RB Sean Tyler – Minnesota (Western Michigan)
The skinny: With Mohamed Ibrahim leaving for the NFL and then the transfer of Trey Potts, the running back position suddenly became more open in Minneapolis. In comes Tyler, who initially committed to Oklahoma State before flipping to the Gophers. Arriving with experience and a great deal of production during his time at Western Michigan, he has performed like a starting back in practice. While carries may be dispersed a bit, look for Tyler to grab the bulk as he has already proven to be an explosive offensive weapon in camp.
