My Farrell 50 on the best QBs entering the 2023 season went over as expected — with a lot of hate. Here are some of the biggest complaints.

50-41

No Tyler Van Dyke was an issue for Miami fans, but there weren’t too many other omissions that made people upset.

TVD not on this list is telling. Another disappointing season for my Canes ahead? Say it ain’t so!

— Hurricanesalum (@Jkollra) July 30, 2023

I get Tyler Van Dyke had a bad year last year but NOT Top 50???‍♂️

— Uncle Cliff ?? (@cliff311) July 28, 2023

40-31

Spencer Rattler at 35 was way too low for South Carolina fans and even some from different fan bases. Brennan Armstrong so low was also an issue for Wolfpack fans.

Rattler at 35???? ?? what in the hell

Rattler being underestimated again

30-21

Joe Milton at 27 was clearly the biggest complaint of the entire list as we know Vols fans can be vocal. And people took exception to Carson Beck at Georgia and Cade Klubnik at Clemson being ranked higher than some established quarterbacks.

Milton has to be above Klubnik considering how he totally out-dueled him in the Orange Bowl

— Swaggy P ??? (@PatrickOwnby1) July 28, 2023

Cade Klubnik has done absolutely nothing to prove that he deserves being that high ranked

— スプーダー? (@SouthernSpooder) July 28, 2023

20-11

Ohio State’s Kyle McCord so high without the starting job was an issue and a ton of folks had an issue with Hudson Card at Purdue being ranked ahead of Sam Hartman at Notre Dame.

Hudson Card over Sam Hartman the ACC’s all time passing leader? What a joke.

The ND hate is real. Gimme a break

— Jim Whelan (@J57Whelan) July 28, 2023

10-1

Obviously many didn’t like UNC’s Drake Maye over USC’s Caleb Williams while others didn’t like how low FSU’s Jordan Travis was. And Bo Nix (Oregon) over Michael Penix Jr. (Washington) was a problem.

Caleb Williams at 2 is a sick twisted joke

— College Basketball Content (@CBBcontent) July 28, 2023

Might just be me but I’d probably have the defending Heisman winner, who also happens to be the favorite to win the Heisman this year and the favorite to be the # 1 pick in the draft as the # 1 QB. But I’m an outside the box thinker.

— Bob Romano (@BigDreamin927) July 29, 2023

Sam Hartman seems way too low at 12 considering what he has accomplished in his career and potential with ND with that O’line and a slew of young, talented WRs. No way Hudson Card and Quinn Ewers should be ahead of him. They haven’t done squat in their collegiate careers.

— Brian Ginch (@ginchnd) July 29, 2023

Travis FSU is top 3

— Joe Rago (@knightschool67) July 28, 2023

Bo Nix at 3 is a joke, right? He couldn’t hack it in the SEC so had to move out to the soft PAC-12, and still couldn’t make them a contender. Caleb W should be 1. Quinn is still unproven. And KJ Jefferson at 14?? He’s easily top 10 if not top 5.
