2024 continues to heat up. Here are the most important QB commitments so far, in my humble opinion.
1. Jadyn Davis to Michigan
— Jim Harbaugh needed to close this one out as the North Carolina star was a heavy lean forever but didn’t pull the trigger for what seemed like the longest time. Davis following JJ McCarthy changes the perception of Harbaugh as a QB recruiter.

2. DJ Lagway to Florida
— Lagway was a must-get for Billy Napier after the Jaden Rashada debacle, and he has a bright future. And now, after Austin Simmons reclassified and decommitted, Lagway becomes even more important.

3. Elijah Brown to Stanford
— Troy Taylor needed to make a splash in recruiting as things have become stagnant, and Brown is a massive get. He will bring much-needed skill position talent with him.

4. CJ Carr to Notre Dame
— ND quarterback recruiting hasn’t been elite in recent years, so landing Carr, a Michigan legacy with a high ranking, was huge. You could argue he’s the most anticipated signal caller to head to ND since Jimmy Clausen.

5. Mabrey Mettauer to Wisconsin
— A new head coach, a new OC, and a new offense need an elite QB, and Mettauer has a huge ceiling. The Trevor Lawrence vibes go beyond the great hair.

6. Walker White to Auburn
— Hugh Freeze needed a big QB recruit in his first full year, and White has a chance to be crucial in this rebuild. He’s honestly the future of the program at the position as the cupboard is bare.

7. Cutter Boley to Kentucky
— Mark Stoops needs to keep elite kids home and especially a QB the caliber of Boley. It would have been a disaster to lose him.

8. Trey Owens to Texas
— It’s not that Owens is a super talent — he’s solid but not spectacular — it’s that he’s willing to follow Arch Manning in a class that could have been tough to land a good QB.

9. Air Noland to Ohio State
— After Dylan Raiola decommitted, the Buckeyes needed to land an elite QB after taking a shot on Lincoln Kienholz a year ago. Noland fits the bill.

10. KJ Jackson to Arkansas
— Another KJ at QB can’t hurt, and Sam Pittman needs out-of-state recruiting wins, and the signal caller from Alabama is a nice one.
