Keon Coleman (Michigan State to Florida State)
The skinny: Coleman waited until the last day of the spring portal window to officially make himself available, but quickly became a priority for many top programs. While Michigan State maintained hopes that they could convince their leading receiver to return to East Lansing, after Coleman took official visits to Florida State and Ole Miss, that likelihood quickly diminished. Teaming Coleman up with returning wide receiver Johnny Wilson, quarterback Jordan Travis and incoming transfer tight end Jaheim Bell gives the Seminoles a potentially lethal offense that could push them over-the-top in the ACC this fall.
Eric Miller (Purdue to Louisville)
The skinny: As with any head coaching change, roster turnover was expected at Louisville. It was also expected that new head coach Jeff Brohm might entice some of his former players at Purdue to follow him. One who was enticed was Miller, who brings 29 career starts, including 14 in 2022, to the Cardinals offensive line. A 6-foot-7, 305-pound grad transfer, expect him to immediately become a leader on the unit and help the transition of the new offensive system.

DB Antonio Carter (Rhode Island to Notre Dame)
The skinny: Carter quickly became one of the more sought-after spring transfers after entering in April. After piling up the offers, his process came to an end after he took an official visit to South Bend. The Irish eventually beat out schools like LSU, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Florida, Iowa, Wisconsin and Washington for his services. Carter, who has two seasons of eligibility remaining, should play a big part of this fall’s secondary due to his versality. Able to play corner, safety and nickel, expect the Irish to find ways to get him increased playing time as the season progresses.
DB Ja’Dais Richard (Vanderbilt to Miami-Florida)
The skinny: As a true freshman at Vanderbilt, Richard played in 11 games with one start. Showing impressive potential during his time on the field, and with a 6-foot-2, 195-pound frame, he immediately became a hot name in the portal upon his entry. Finding his landing spot in Coral Gables, he adds additional depth and talent to the Canes’ secondary. Look for him to compete against Daryl Porter Jr. and fellow-transfer Jaden Davis for a starting spot during summer camp.
DB Marcus Washington (Georgia to Louisville)
The skinny: Washington was a four-star coming out of high school, but only spent one season with Georgia before entering the transfer portal. With four seasons of eligibility remaining, he joins a revamped secondary which was considered a concern after the 2022 season but now has the potential to be a possible strength this fall. Jan 9, 2023; Inglewood, CA, USA; Georgia Bulldogs defensive back Marcus Washington Jr. (28) against the TCU Horned Frogs during the CFP national championship game at SoFi Stadium.
