I take a dive into whether a certain number in college football is OVER or UNDER. Easy enough, right?

He’s won one now and he has to be the favorite this season, but we saw with Bryce Young how hard it is to stay healthy and repeat. And with elite QBs like Drake Maye, Bo Nix, and Michael Penix Jr. leading elite offenses next season, I’ll take the field over Williams as the safe bet. USC will be good and Williams is special but someone else will break through.

South Carolina Gamecocks 2023 regular season wins

OVER/UNDER 9.5

They were 8-4 last season with a strong finish but 10 wins is lofty. With a loss penciled in to Georgia that means a 10-1 record against a schedule that includes UNC, Clemson, Tennessee, and others. Maybe they surprise us all but I’m leaning more towards 8-4 again.

Donovan Edwards rushing yards

OVER/UNDER 1,100 yards

He had 991 last season as the No. 2 option to Blake Corum. But at the end of the season with Corum injured, he went for 216, 185, and 119 in his last three. Assume he isn’t 111th in the nation in carries (an insanely low number) and he will easily surpass 1,000.
