This article dives into my rankings for the current five best wide receiver recruiting classes in the 2024 cycle.

1. Ohio State

The Buckeyes once again rank inside the Top Five within the 247Sports Rankings for the 2024 season. With that, they are bringing in two five-star receivers Jeremiah Smith and Mylan Graham, both of who rank first in their respective states and top five in the receiving position with Smith at number one and Graham and number four.

UPDATE: Sights Of Ohio State Commit Jeremiah Smith, Smith is a whole different animal and is hands down the best WR I’ve seen on film

2. Notre Dame

The Irish are finding their luck again and it’s starting within the receiving end for the team. They come in second ahead of Georgia based solely on having a five-star receiver commit to their 2024 class. Five-star Cam Williams ranks second overall in the state of Illinois and seventh nationally at the receiver position. Four-star Isiah Canion ranks 29th in the state of Georgia and nationally.

@CanionIsiah’s elite acceleration makes him a very dangerous downfield threat.

Just has that long speed and ability to gradually get behind defenders. Notice in the second clip how fast he speeds up to get to the football.

3. Georgia

The Georgia Bulldogs are coming off an incredible 2022 season that ended with a blowout win over TCU in the College Football Playoff Championship game. As if a team couldn’t get stronger in the receiving core, the Bulldogs are doing just the opposite with the additions of Ny Carr and NiTareon Tuggle, two four-stars who could easily be five-stars. Carr ranks seventh in the state of Georgia at the receiving position and ranks ninth in the nation. Tuggle ranks 57th in the state of Florida and 53rd nationally. If they land five-star Ryan Wingo, who they are projected to land, then UGA would move to second in this ranking.

4. Oregon

The Ducks are not ducking around anything in the 2024 class. Matter of fact, they have an impressive board of prospects ready to join the team next season. Two of these are highly-touted receiving prospects, both of which are four stars. Tyseer Denmark, who has been committed since November of last year, ranks second in the state of Pennsylvania and 20th nationally at the receiver position. Jordan Anderson has been committed since right before Christmas and ranks 14th in the state of California and 16th nationally at the receiver position.

5. Florida State

Mike Norvell has proven that the logo still holds weight in the state of Florida after landing Tawaski Abrams and Camdon Frier. Abrams ranks 39th in the state of Florida and 36th nationally at the receiver position. Frier ranks 56th in the state of Florida and 52nd nationally at the receiver position.
