1. Philadelphia Eagles

— The UGA connection is a smart one for the Eagles, and DT Jalen Carter and EDGE Nolan Smith will help the pass rush. But I also love almost every pick, including DB Sydney Brown and OT Tyler Steen.

Mar 2, 2023; Indianapolis, IN, USA; Georgia defensive lineman Nolan Smith (DL45) participates in drills during the NFL combine at Lucas Oil Stadium.

2. Baltimore Ravens

— WR Zay Flowers is a weapon, LB Trenton Simpson is a steal, and OG Andrew Voorhees won’t play next season, but down the line, he could be amazing.

Nov 26, 2022; Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, USA; Boston College Eagles wide receiver Zay Flowers (4) against the Syracuse Orange during the second quarter at Alumni Stadium.

3. Seattle Seahawks

— The first two picks are great ones, as I love CB Devon Witherspoon and WR Jaxson Smith-Njigba, and the depth is nice with EDGE Derrick Hall and RB Zach Charbonnet.

Oct 1, 2022; Madison, Wisconsin, USA; Illinois Fighting Illini defensive back Devon Witherspoon (31) breaks up the pass during the first quarter against the Wisconsin Badgers at Camp Randall Stadium.

4. Indianapolis Colts

— While QB Anthony Richardson is iffy, I love CB Julius Brents, WR Josh Downs, and round five RB Evan Hull.

The Best Way to End the Scheduling Debate

Mar 4, 2023; Indianapolis, IN, USA; Florida quarterback Anthony Richardson (QB11) participates in drills at Lucas Oil Stadium.

5. Denver Broncos

— WR Marvin Mims, LB Drew Sanders, and CB Riley Moss are all steals.

Sep 10, 2022; Fayetteville, Arkansas, USA; Arkansas Razorbacks linebacker Drew Sanders (42) pursues South Carolina Gamecocks quarterback Spencer Rattler (7) during the second half at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. Arkansas won 44-30.

6. Detroit Lions

— Picking RB Jahmyr Gibbs so high was odd when they could have traded back, but I like LB Jack Campbell, and I think TE Sam LaPorta and CB Brian Branch are can’t-miss guys.

Iowa linebacker Jack Campbell reacts after making a tackle against South Dakota State during a NCAA football game on Saturday, Sept. 3, 2022, at Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City.

7. Houston Texans

— I’m not as big a fan of their entire draft as others, but how can you not like landing QB CJ Stroud and DE Will Anderson Jr.?

Apr 27, 2023; Kansas City, MO, USA; Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud reacts after being selected by the Houston Texans second overall in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft at Union Station.

8. Pittsburgh Steelers

— So many good picks here, from OT Broderick Jones down to LB Nick Herbig.

Mar 2, 2023; Indianapolis, IN, USA; Wisconsin linebacker Nick Herbig (LB11) participates in drills during the NFL Combine at Lucas Oil Stadium.

9. New Orleans Saints

— It’s not an amazing haul but an effective one, and QB Jake Haener could be their future under center.

Sep 10, 2022; Fresno, California, USA; Fresno State Bulldogs quarterback Jake Haener (9) throws a pass against the Oregon State Beavers in the first quarter at Valley Children’s Stadium.

10. Cincinnati Bengals

— The picks up top are solid, but WR Charlie Jones and RB Chase Brown are going to surprise people.

Nov 26, 2022; Bloomington, Indiana, USA; Purdue Boilermakers wide receiver Charlie Jones (15) catches a long pass for a touchdown against the Indiana Hoosiers during the second half at Memorial Stadium.
