Spring Transfer Portal Window: Colorado Edition

With a multitude of Colorado players hitting the transfer portal since Saturday, many have been busy with their new recruiting process. Here are five who are making waves.

WR Jordyn Tyson

The skinny: As a true freshman in 2022, Tyson was dynamic with 22 receptions for 470 yards and four touchdowns. On top of that, he also returned a punt for a touchdown. While he has remained rather quiet since entering the portal on Monday, he has been very busy dealing with his process. A few of the schools to keep an eye on include Kentucky, Iowa, Houston, Florida, West Virginia, Purdue, Oregon State, Mississippi State and Fresno State.

OL Jake Wiley

The skinny: Wiley did not enter the portal until Wednesday afternoon but being a veteran offensive lineman who started 22 games in Boulder, he quickly became a priority for several programs. Already with offers from UCLA, Purdue, Washington State, Duke, San Diego State and Nevada, and receiving serious interest from schools like South Carolina, Maryland, Auburn, Illinois and Kentucky, look for Wiley to take a little time to organize his opportunities before he starts taking visits.

WR Montana Lemonious-Craig

The skinny: Lemonious-Craig entered on Monday morning, two days after grabbing three receptions for 154 yards and two touchdowns during the annual spring game. The offers quickly poured in from Penn State, Auburn, Mississippi State, Purdue, Arkansas, Washington State, Arizona, Colorado State, Cincinnati, UCF, Cal, West Virginia, Oregon State, BYU, San Diego State, USF, Liberty, Tulane, UConn, Prairie View A&M, Southern Utah and Tennessee State. With countless options, the attention will now turn to official visits, which have yet to be figured out but will obviously play a huge factor in his decision.

OL Alex Harkey

The skinny: Entering on Monday, Harkey quickly picked up offers from UNLV, Nevada, Utah State, Texas State and Old Dominion. He has also been receiving steady interest throughout the week from schools like Indiana, FIU, Arizona State, South Alabama, Wyoming and New Mexico. While the JUCO signee only spent one season in Boulder, he did more than enough to showcase his value to numerous programs.

DT Jalen Sami

The skinny: Productive veteran interior defensive linemen are always sought after in the portal, so when Sami entered on Tuesday, he immediately became busy. Having played 40 games at Colorado, P5 interest has been plentiful, with Michigan State, Houston, BYU and Nebraska leading the charge. The Spartans have been the most aggressive to this point and have begun pushing for a visit, so look for that to happen in the near future.
