WR Montana Lemonious-Craig – Colorado

The skinny: The wave of Colorado players entering the portal this week has been steady and abundant. While some were expected, the entry of Lemonious-Craig took many by surprise. So, when he entered on Monday morning, two days after grabbing three receptions for 154 yards and two touchdowns during the annual spring game, the offers have been pouring in. During his first day in the portal Lemonious-Craig picked up offers from Penn State, Auburn, Mississippi State, Purdue, Arkansas, Washington State, Arizona, Colorado State, Cincinnati, UCF, Cal, West Virginia, Oregon State, BYU, San Diego State, USF, Liberty, Tulane, UConn, Prairie View A&M, Southern Utah and Tennessee State. Then on Tuesday,

WR Dylan Goffney – SMU

The skinny: After totaling 32 receptions for 500 yards and two touchdowns during his two seasons with the Mustangs, Goffney has become a hot commodity in the portal since his entry last Friday. Now with offers from Pittsburgh, Arizona State, Cincinnati, Western Kentucky, Cal, Bowling Green, UConn, Fresno State, Texas State, Georgia State, Colorado State, Louisiana-Monroe and Charlotte, plus with schools like Iowa, Rutgers and North Texas sniffing, look for Gaffney to quickly turn his attention to official visits.

ACU’s Mike Garrett Jr. (29) holds onto SMU’s Dylan Goffney (10) to make a tackle during Saturday’s game at Gerald J. Ford Stadium in Dallas on Sept. 4, 2021. The Mustangs won 56-9.

WR EJ Horton – Marshall

The skinny: Horton was one of the first entries into the portal when the window re-opened and has been busy since that point. Offers have come in from Cal, Colorado, Liberty, Ball State, Jacksonville State, Bowling Green, Rhode Island, Robert Morris, Hampton and Texas A&M-Commerce. A few other schools to keep an eye on include Kentucky, Colorado State, Stanford, Mississippi State and UMass, however, these schools and any others that are interested may need to offer quickly if they hope to be considered since Horton recently scheduled official visits to Colorado and Cal.

DL Isaac Ukwu – James Madison

The skinny: Ukwu was a surprise addition to the portal on Tuesday, who quickly became a defensive line priority for many top programs from coast-to-coast. Auburn was the first to offer, followed by Colorado, Kansas, USF, Ole Miss, Cal, West Virginia, Liberty and Cincinnati. As a grad transfer who has been productive for multiple seasons, his All-Conference abilities will continue to reel in offers in the coming days.

James Madison defensive lineman Isaac Ukwu stops Delaware running back Quincy Watson in the first quarter at Delaware Stadium,

LB Konnor Near – Ferris State

The skinny: The All-American starting middle linebacker for one of the top D2 programs in the country, Near, who totaled 66 tackles, 10.5 tackles for a loss and three sacks in 2022, has been quickly accumulating FBS offers since he entered the portal on Monday. Washington State, Texas Tech, Miami-Ohio, Utah State, Toledo, Bowling Green and Appalachian State all offered within hours of his entry, Duke, Cincinnati and Georgia Tech then followed on Tuesday. With his process still very new, it will be interesting to see how many offers he gathers in the coming days.
