The first portal window is over, and the next one isn’t until April 15. I kicked off the rankings yesterday with the SEC, so here’s the Big Ten today.
1. Michigan
— I love what Jim Harbaugh has done here, especially in the trenches, with three solid OL led by LaDarius Henderson from Arizona State. On defense, they have a great 1-2 punch of DL Josiah Stewart from Coastal Carolina and LB Ernest Hausmann from Nebraska.

2. Wisconsin
— SMU QB Tanner Mordecai is obviously the big get here with USC transfer WR CJ Williams also key to the change of offense under Luke Fickell.

3. Nebraska
— QB Jeff Sims adds depth but I really like DE MJ Sherman and OL Jacob Hood from Georgia as well as taking a shot at super talented TE Arik Gilbert also from the Dawgs.

4. Michigan State
— DE Tunmise Adeleye is the headliner from Texas A&M but keep an eye on RB Nathan Carter from UConn who could be a steal.

5. Maryland
— WR Kaden Prather from West Virginia could be elite and the upside of DB Avantae Williams from Miami and the plug and play skill from CB Ja’Quan Sheppard from Cincinnati can’t be ignored.
