Peyton Bowen
Safety – Oklahoma
The Peyton Bowen saga was probably one of the wildest recruitments I have ever seen. Bowen was committed to Notre Dame for almost an entire year, but Oklahoma was always a lingering threat. Then, Oregon made a big push in the last week before signing day, and he ultimately would commit to the Ducks on National Signing Day. However, it got later and later in the day, and Bowen had still yet to sign his NLI with Oregon. Lots of speculation about a last minute flip came up, and ultimately, Bowen would sign with the Sooners. It was truly a wild process, and it had everyone that was following it closely in a frenzy.

Cormani McClain
Cornerback – Colorado
Cormani McClain had an interesting path to Boulder. He originally committed to Miami in shocking fashion, as many people believed that we would be playing in Gainesville. He was committed to Miami for a few months, but once Deion Sanders arrived at Colorado, a lot of rumors began to surface about McClain potentially flipping to the Buffs. Eventually he would decide to join Coach Sanders. This marks the second class in a row where Deion Sanders has been able to flip a top recruit in the eleventh hour.

Jaden Rashada
Quarterback – Uncommitted
Jaden Rashada’s recruitment is still an ongoing process, and he is looking to flip for the second time. Originally committing to Miami all the way back in June, Rashada would eventually flip to Florida in November. However, after signing his NLI with the Gators, there were rumors that he was unhappy, and wanted out. These rumors ended up being true, and Rashada was officially released from his NLI. Allegedly, it was because an NIL deal he had setup fell through, but this information is neither here nor there, and nothing has been confirmed. Many experts believe that he will ultimately end up back at Miami, and several crystal balls have been put in for him to do so.
