We’ll keep the scouting reports rolling on top prospects from across the country.

Brady Prieskorn – TE

Rochester, MI (Adams High School)

Two sport athlete who also plays basketball. Brother Caden was a 3-star QB for Memphis before moving to TE and transferring to Ole Miss last month. Good height and solid weight in a broad frame that he is not filling out yet. Very good release against press from 2-point stance with very good lower body strength and good agility for his size to drive through pressed DBs and get into vertical stem. Good release on vertical and all deep cuts using his good acceleration and foot speed to open up his hips on cuts. Stays straight due to his good core strength on linear routes against physical coverage. Good separation against LBs and safeties on intermediate cutting routes, lowering his hips at the top of the route with good knee bend and accelerating out of his cuts to open up throwing windows. Very good hands, shows good dexterity and extension to pluck the ball away safely while using his size, good balance, and physical toughness to bring in contested catches consistently. Good YAC ability thanks to his acceleration and agility making angles tough for pursuit defenders in the open field. Has very good leg drive to truck through defenders and fight for extra yards. Good open field blocker on screens and when directly accessing the 2nd level from the slot. Shows good vision to key his assignment and lower his hips to drive through while finishing through the whistle with good competitive toughness.

Was rarely used in 3-point stance or in classic Y-alignment close to the LOS. Adequate upper body strength and punch placement allow for stronger DLs and LBs to knock his hands off and shed his blocks. Adequate release against flat and intermediate zone coverage due to adequate coverage processing. Too many instances where he runs into zoned defenders instead of finding and settling in voids. Very good TE prospect, brings a very good blend of athletic ability and strength allowing for quick usage in big slot role at the next level and carries elite ceiling when able to figure out the mental and technical parts of the position especially around the LOS.

Jeremiah Beasley – LB

Belleville, MI (Belleville High School)

LB prospect that is receiving interest throughout the Big Ten and ACC. Good height and adequate weight in a compact frame with good strength. Good play diagnosing, reading through triangle with good mental processing to establish good gap leverage on downfield runs due to good lateral agility. Good ability to take on blocks, sinking his hips to establish leverage and extend his arm with very good upper body strength to not get kicked back by climbing OL immediately and using his lateral agility to evade or help shed due to good hand placement and punch power, removing hands from his chest and shedding to get in his gap. Good tackler inside his gap and in the open field, good lower body strength to drive through against smaller ball carriers and good COD to not get faked out in the open field against twitchier backs. Good zone coverage in the middle on Hook and Curl zones, quickly identifying pass and dropping back with good, tight back pedal while taking away early crossers through his area due to good awareness. Good timing and the catching point, showing good ball tracking even with back to QB and get his hands in to disrupt with good competitiveness.

Adequate range against outside runs from middle or backside alignment due to adequate acceleration allowing RBs with good speed to attack the perimeter. Adequate man coverage and match in the open field due to adequate route recognition, allowing good route runners to manipulate their stem and create windows underneath. Overall good prospect, best used in a 4-3/4-2-5 system with middle or frontside alignment due to his good play strength and block processing. Can be trusted to start for a Power 5 defense by his 3rd season.

Daniel Hill – ATH

Meridian, MS (Meridian High School)

LB and RB prospect that has garnered offers throughout the SEC with a verified 11.55 100m dash time. Mainly played slot receiver, returner and wingback with some experience on defense but looks better as an LB. Good height and weight in a sturdy, compact frame with naturally low center of gravity. Very good lower and upper body strength indicate good ability to take on and shed blocks. Shows an understanding and ability to gain contact leverage with good knee bend and bring good physical toughness in one on one situations. Projects well to play against outside runs from middle and backside alignment thanks to his elite acceleration and very good foot speed which allow for very good pursuit and good ability to mirror RBs toward the sideline to keep containment. Good man coverage against RBs and TEs with solid route recognition, good agility, and good COD allow him to stay in phase throughout the breaking point. Very good ball skills, shows very good timing and ball tracking to attack at the catching point and contest catches through contact.

Adequate ability to diagnose the play in time which leads to adequate ability to establish proper gap integrity and allow savvy blockers to get good angles on him. Hand timing and placement are adequate, will need to dig into his coaching to be able to consistently hold up frontside or take on pass rushing duties. Very good prospect that should fit best in a weakside role at the 2nd level where his athletic ability and play strength can shine in the open field in man coverage or pursuit. Marginal experience and mental processing make him somewhat of a project that might be in for more of a rotational role in the early going but carries elite ceiling with the right coaching staff.

Jeremiah McClellan – WR

St. Louis, MO (Christian Brothers College)

WR prospect that received offers from every Power 5 conference. Solid height and adequate weight with good upper body strength. Very good release against press, using his good upper body strength combined with solid hand technique to get good contact balance and release cleanly into his stem. Very good release against off and zone due to elite acceleration, eating ground in a hurry and showing good mental processing to attack zone DBs’ blind spots consistently. Good separation on linear and vertical routes against zone, understanding the threat of his very good speed to use stutter moves to open up hips and accelerate to create throwing windows deep and intermediate on all-speed routes. Good ability to find voids between intermediate and short zones due to good mental processing and balance to settle down quickly. Good body adjust around his frame, uses his good balance and good ball tracking to make catches outside his radius without losing momentum and turning upfield quickly. Very good YAC, knows how to use his elite acceleration to erase pursuit and tackling angles while using solid lateral agility to soften the impact at the tackling point and falling forward vs smaller tacklers. Solid open field blocker, using his good processing and upper body strength to key his assignment and control especially smaller DB’s with good competitive toughness.

Adequate release against man coverage on higher COD routes mainly due to adequate knee bend, not sinking enough to keep DBs that can match his agility from staying attached through the breaking point. Adequate ball skills when highly contested due to adequate extension, allowing longer armed defenders to break up the pass. Overall very good prospect who already brings good refinement combined with very good athletic traits especially with the ball in his hands to contribute early on. Will need to add to his skills against good man coverage to be considered a productive outside WR prospect at the next level, but can be trusted to become a starter by his 3rd year and carries the upside to be the key weapon on a very good Power 5 offense when it’s all said and done.
