Brandon Jacob – SAF
Orlando, FL (Evans High School)
Two-way player that is receiving interest from several different conferences such as the B12, ACC and SEC. Very good height and adequate weight. Displays good range and play recognition to be trusted in both single-high and two-high safety looks. Solid hands and vertical to go up and make interceptions, force pass breakups. Good vision and solid reactions to read the QB’s eyes and put himself in position to consistently make plays. Good pursuit and run support, never gives up on plays and is always willing to come downhill from the FS position to make tackles.
Will need to improve his angles taken against both the pass and run game along with communication with his teammates as a free safety. Once he is able to put together his angles, length and reactions all together with more coaching/experience he has potential to be an elite free safety at the P5 level. I trust that he will be able to add good muscle this upcoming year and be receiving snaps as a true freshman. Overall, a good prospect that will be a starter for a good P5 school by his second year with potential to become an elite free safety by his junior/senior season.

Jordan Lyle – RB
Fort Lauderdale, FL (St. Thomas Aquinas High School)
A complete RB receiving interest from the elite teams in the SEC, B10 and Pac-12. Solid height and adequate weight. Displays very good agility, patience and vision as a runner. Shows good burst accelerating through holes and solid play strength and contact balance to fight through DB tackle attempts and gain yardage after contact. Has experience blocking in pass-pro and picking up the blitzing defenders. Good hands to consistently catch balls out of the backfield. Very good pursuit as a runner and blocker, never gives up on a play and will fight until the whistle blows.
Only true knocks to me are his size and adequate long speed. I believe he has more room to grow and fill out as an RB. Best fit would be in a heavy zone-run scheme as he is able to run both inside and outside zone effectively using his vision and swift cuts. Overall, a very good player that can receive snaps immediately as a change-of-pace/3rd down back as a freshman. He will be a very good starting RB in the P5 by his second or third season.

Rodney Hill – LB
Palm Coast, FL (Flagler Palm Coast High School)
Inside linebacker in a 4-3 scheme. Poor height and solid weight, speed and explosiveness. Takes good angles and shows good change of direction to read the ballcarrier. Understands how to read keys and can cover multiple gaps when reading pulling blockers and cutbacks. Solid strength and hand placement to shed run blocks, displays good pursuit after shedding to make an impact on each play. Shows consistent solid mechanics when tackling, works with low center of gravity and attacks at good pad level. Does a good job of keeping defender in front of him when he’s playing zone coverage, shows solid timing and hands to intercept/disrupt passes.
Would not trust him in man coverage at the next level against solid or better TEs due to his length. Will need to work on his timing with blitzes in college, he crashes the line now without using his DL movement to his advantage. Lacks the height and length right now to be a key contributor at the P5 level, I project him to land somewhere in the Sun Belt or C-USA conferences. Overall, a solid player that can provide special teams impact right away with the ability to start at ILB by his second or third year if he’s able to grow.

Davi Belfort – QB
Miami, FL (Gulliver Prep)
Son of former MMA star Vitor Belfort. Adequate frame and length with solid athleticism. Solid rhythm of the offense he runs and gets the ball out on time at the top of his drops. Good release and accuracy/touch on throws where he’s asked to layer it over the second line of defenders in such as deep crossers and comebacks. Good arm strength allows him to make deep throws in the pocket within 60 yards. Solid arm talent, can execute throws on the run and off-platform when he has to. Solid competitive toughness as a passer, willing to keep his feet set and take a hit after short/intermediate throws. Has solid acceleration and agility in the open field to pose a threat as a runner.
Adequate mental processing and decision-making, on his tape I see a lot of staring down his first read and if he’s not open then he tucks it to run. This can be improved with more experience and better coaching at the next level. Height will pose some concern with vision issues. Solid prospect overall that will need a year or two to sit and work on his weaknesses, I project him to be a starter for a good team in the Group of 5 conferences by his second or third season.
