We’ll keep the scouting reports rolling on top prospects from across the country.
Troy Stevenson – ATH (CB)
Charleston, SC (Philip Simmons High School)
Two-way player who also competes in varsity basketball. Plays receiver and cornerback throughout his HS career. Solid height and marginal weight with good strength from the lower body. Good mirror ability in soft press, using good foot quickness and knee bend to stay square and force leverage advantages in the first 10 yards with good angle awareness. Good man coverage skills in press and off coverage as his good knee bend gives him an angular position on the receiver. Very good agility and COD to stay in phase on the short and intermediate level even on high COD routes vs shifty WRs. Good bail technique, triggering downfield out of backpedal quickly with good acceleration. Good ball tracking and timing at the catch point both with head towards QB when keying WR. Good processing allows him to anticipate the route break and understands the timing of plays to get his hands in against ball catchers that cannot match him in size and strength. Good hands to bring in interceptions due to good dexterity and concentration from his WR background. Solid tackling in the open field, using good lower body and core strength to add force from the ground and knock back smaller ball carriers with good competitive toughness.
Marginal weight and upper body strength hinder his ability to cover bigger receivers that rely on physicality at the breaking point and limits his ability to contest passes when out-leveraged. Adequate run support as he rarely was asked to fill up gaps or play pursuit while playing outside. Has to grow to be able to sustain against the receivers he would be facing regularly in a Power 5 Conference. Good prospect who’s mental processing, athletic ability and two way experience give him a high ceiling especially in the turnover department but current size concerns might keep him from entering the field until he fully maxes out his frame more.
? Keeping close tabs on 24' DB/ATH Troy Stevenson (SC). Once on our Big Board tracking progression is crucial. Players are going to develop and taking 1-2 min to view mid-season or single game highlights is a seperator for evaluators. @troystevensonn2 @PSIronHorseFB @NextGen_Pr pic.twitter.com/vhAZUROa1s

Charleston Collins – DL
Little Rock, AR (Wilbur D. Mills High School)
DL prospect that is receiving attention throughout the SEC and Big Ten conferences. Good height and marginal weight in a sturdy frame that leaves a lot of room to max out while already carrying good lower body strength. Solid burst when aligned head on and able to immediately initiate contact using good knee bend and core strength to transition his solid quickness into power at the contact point. Good punch timing and technique to swat blockers hands away and get under their pads consistently to collapse the pocket with his bull rush from his 2 or 4 tech alignment. Solid toolbox to counter when initial moves stalls and his good COD, contact balance, and agility paired with his use of hands allow him to cross and generate late pressure. Good diagnosing of gap concepts, keeps his eyes in the backfield and his arms extended to shed with good upper body strength when the run arrives in his gap. Very good pursuit due to good balance and agility, maneuvers through traffic and finds lanes to cutoff runs with good competitiveness.
Adequate burst when gap-aligned as his adequate acceleration does not stress vertical sets enough especially against quicker tackles on the edge. Adequate acceleration and block recognition lead to adequate defense against zone concepts, especially reach blocks where he is not able to consistently deny blockers from getting their hat across his face and force runners to cut back. Overall solid prospect who is a tweener right now as his skill sets translates more to a two-gap responsible 3-4 end but his lack of mass could prevent that usage early on. Good upside in the long haul due to his athletic ability and projectable frame; should be able to become a contributor you can win with for a Power 5 school by his third year.

Guerby Lambert – OT
West Roxbury, MA (Catholic Memorial High School)
Two sport athlete who also competes in shot-put where he recorded a 40’5 as a sophomore. Garnering widespread interest throughout the Big Ten and SEC. Good height and adequate weight in a lanky frame with good upper body strength. Very good initial quickness out of his 3 and even 4-point stance. Uses a jump set to engage early with very good foot quickness and punch timing. Utilizes his good punch power to throw pass rushers off the spot and control with very good leverage as his very good knee bend allows him to mirror even against quicker pass rushers. Very good on zone runs thanks to his good processing to target the outside hip on combo blocks. Shows elite acceleration and good balance to advance and identify his second-level assignment and blocks through the whistle with very good competitiveness. Good on reach and angle blocks as his initial quickness allows him to get a leveraged position and good hand placement leads to good timing and control. Good anchor when able to beat pass rusher to the set point, settles in with very good balance and absorbs contact with good play strength.
Was mainly asked to engage on jump sets as his initial quickness and contact balance allowed him to dominate inferior competition consistently. Footwork on vertical sets is still adequate despite his athletic abilities. Adequate ability to drive block on inside runs against bigger DTs due to adequate lower body strength. Will need to add more mass to be successful in a heavier gap scheme on the next level. Very good prospect who brings a very good toolbox in a very good frame that should fill out more in a Power 5 strength program. Athletic ability and processing should allow him to start early and can be trusted to become a major contributor for a winning Big Ten or SEC schedule over the course of his career.
4 ⭐️ OL Guerby Lambert warming up. He is huge! Only has filled out more since the last time I saw him. The junior holds offers from multiple power 5 programs. @GuerbyLambert pic.twitter.com/cGlZmhStIn

Ju’Juan Johnson – ATH (CB)
Lafayette, LA (Lafayette Christian Academy)
Athlete who also competes in track and ran a regional winning 50.87 400m time in the spring of 2022. Played QB and CB during his High School career. Solid size and adequate weight in a slender frame with a small upper half and good lower body strength. Good mirroring skills off the snap, very good agility and COD allow him to stay in phase throughout the route and after the breaking point on sharp routes. Very good coverage on vertical and speed cut concepts, elite acceleration and foot quickness allow him to match on all levels off the field. Good ball tracking in man and zone coverage as his history playing QB gives him good anticipation and understanding of the rhythm of the offense. Good timing and disruption at the catch point against smaller receivers even when not facing towards the play thanks to his good processing. Shows good physical toughness in tackling situations.
Just started to pick up defensive play as he was a three-year starter at QB in an option heavy offense. Nuances of tackling angles, run support and bail or off-techniques from nickel or outside alignments especially against the stronger receivers in the SEC will be a challenge due to his inexperience and adequate play strength. Good prospect who brings a bunch of tools that can translate into him becoming a playmaker on special packages early and give him a ceiling of a very good starter.
