–3-star ATH Khalil Barnes, North Oconee High School, Bogart, Georgia (#688 nationally, #51 athlete, and #68 in GA.)

Three-star Georgia athlete Khalil Barnes committed to the Clemson Tigers on Friday, choosing them over Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Barnes had committed to the Wake Forest Demon Deacons in June before backing off his pledge on October 3. Since then, the Tigers and Irish had been the favorites to land him as they both offered him and received official visits. He said his commitment to the Tigers he said, 

“It was kind of a no-brainer.” 

He joins a Clemson class ranked tenth overall and second in the ACC behind the Miami Hurricanes.

–4-star S Randon Fontenette, Brazosport High School, Freeport, Texas (#320, #29 safety, and #55 in TX.)

Four-star Texas safety Randon Fontenette committed to the TCU Horned Frogs on Friday night. He chose TCU over the Boise State Broncos, Texas Tech Red Raiders, Utah Utes, and Vanderbilt Commodores, among others. Fontenette had been committed to the Utah Utes until backing off his pledge on November 3. He adds to the Horned Frogs class that now has eight four-star recruits and is currently ranked No. 16 overall and third in the Big 12, trailing only the Texas Longhorns (#3) and Oklahoma Sooners (#8).

–4-star S Jamel Johnson, Seguin High School, Arlington, Texas (#347 nationally, #33 safety, and #60 in TX.)

Four-star safety Jamel Johnson committed to the TCU Horned Frogs on Friday afternoon. He had been committed to the Texas Longhorns before backing off his pledge on November 7. Johnson was in Fort Worth last weekend for an official visit. He adds to a Horned Frogs class that has had an excellent day on the recruiting front.

–4-star Taeshaun Lyons, Tennyson High School, Hayward, California (#224 nationally, #30 wide receiver, and #17 in CA.)

Taeshaun Lyons, a four-star wide receiver from California, committed to the Washington Huskies on Friday. He chose the Huskies over the Miami Hurricanes, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, and Oregon Ducks. Lyons took an official visit to Seattle in June and almost committed at that time. However, it was only when he visited again in November when the Huskies hosted the Colorado Buffaloes that UW might be the place to go. With his commitment, the Huskies have the No. 28 class overall and fourth in the Pac-12.

–3-star WR Malachi Riley, Centennial High School, Corona, California (#593, #84 wide receiver, and #54 in CA.)

Malachi Riley, a three-star wide receiver from California, committed to the Arizona Wildcats on Friday night. He chose the Wildcats over the Georgia Bulldogs, Texas A&M Aggies, and UCLA Bruins, among others. Riley becomes the 20th commit and the second-highest recruit in a Wildcats class currently ranked No. 46 overall and sixth in the Pac-12. He is an excellent pickup for head coach Jedd Fisch and the Wildcats.
