I've been saying for quite some time that USC sophomore quarterback Caleb Williams is the best prospect in football.
He continues to prove it. 28/1 TD/INT ratio thus far in 2022. Reminds me of Patrick Mahomes.https://t.co/PGNFqZW4S4

5. Chase Brown
Junior, Illinois
- Week 10 Stats: 33 Carries, 136 Yards, 0 TDs, 4.1 YPC
- Season Stats: 257 Carries, 1,344 Yards, 5 TDs, 5.2 YPC
CJ Stroud played in the worst conditions I have ever seen, which made throwing the ball nearly impossible. Stroud led his team to victory with his effective QB runs throughout the game. The Hendon Hooker Heisman hype died a little this week after a disappointing performance against Georgia. Despite the loss, Hooker’s season is still impressive, moving him to #2. No freshman has ever won the Heisman trophy, and while it’s unlikely that changes this year, Drake Maye has the stats to back up his bid. Caleb Williams and Chase Brown round out the top 5 due to their continued consistency this season. Bryce Young and Blake Corum are my dark-horse candidates.

CJ Stroud struggled but had a solid day against Northwestern, keeping him at #1. Drake Maye and Max Duggan are on fire leading their teams to a combined 17-1 record heading into week 11. Hendon Hooker and Caleb Williams are tied at #4, with the nod going to Caleb after week 10. Bryce Young and Will Rogers are some names to keep an eye on for this award.
