Jadyn Davis – QB

Providence Day, NC

National-level recruit who’s had the attention of every big program since his 8th grade season. Good frame and solid speed. Reads his keys pre-snap and has the anticipation to find the open man immediately into his drop. Quick feet through his drop. Elite mental processing, continues to read the field during his drop and adjust if his pre-snap reads were off. Good footwork to adjust to oncoming rushers and shows very good poise in the pocket. Very good courage, not afraid to throw the ball into tight pockets or far downfield. Good arm strength, can reliably throw downfield. Elite accuracy, places the ball exactly where it needs to be through all three throw distances. Tight spiral and good zip on the ball. Has the speed and agility to eat up some yards if the open field presents itself. Protects his body and will scan entire field again for a throw before committing to the run.

Release could be quicker; swings his arm back instead of immediately cocking his shoulder. More prominent when throwing on the run, pass takes a while to come out. Hard to gauge his leadership ability and competitive toughness from his film, can’t make a call either way. Extremely gifted QB, would put him as my #1 QB for the 2023 class if he was a year older. Has the tools to lead a team to a championship.

Rico Scott – WR

Bishop McDevitt, PA

Top WR prospect that has taken unofficial visits to PSU, TAMU, and Alabama. Solid frame and length with very good speed and explosiveness. Uses his very good athletic ability to create separation off the snap and avoid the press. Sharp route runner that can easily lose man coverage at the top of his routes. Adjusts to the ball well, stems his routes and adjusts his speed to settle in zones and create separation against man coverage. High-points the ball and quickly turns up-field. Huge threat in the open field, not many defenders out there able to chase him down and has very good juke and stop-and-go ability to get around defenders.

Would like to see him add a bit more physicality to his game, not handsy with corners who play him tight and an unwilling blocker. Home-run mentality that causes him to run laterally when safe gains are available. Plays in a weak division and may see some growing pains at the next level. Extremely attractive prospect due to his athletic ability that needs to polish his competitive toughness if he wants to excel in the SEC or Big 10. Very high floor and ceiling for this kid.

D’Antre Robinson – DL

Jones, FL

DL prospect that can play strong side DE in a 3-4 or DT in a 4-3. Good height, very good weight, and solid length with very good strength and explosiveness. Quick and strong initial punch that gives him the leverage to quickly shed. Patient when setting the edge and will bump the running back inside. Maintains half-man ratio to cover his gap even while blocked. Has the play strength to wrap up smaller backs with a single arm and bring them down. Fluid hips and can twist or slant when asked. Strong power rusher who can disrupt the pocket and cause the QB to panic. Very good play strength and threatens a strip on most tackles while stopping the ballcarrier in their tracks. Good competitive toughness, clearly loves the game.

Marginal straight-line speed, isn’t going to chase anyone down once they get past him. Disrupts the pocket but not going to be a major contributor to the pass rush otherwise. About as standard of a power-rushing DL as you can find, can easily slide into plenty of defenses across the nation and be trusted to do his job.

I’m really looking forward to the growth of Lee Hunter. You add John Walker and D’Antre Robinson and that’s going to be a very dominant front and force in CFB! @EliteEmpireATH @The_Fridge7

Marquis Gallegos– FS

Chaminade, CA

Premier safety prospect that’s gotten the attention of most schools on the western side of the country. Good frame with very good speed, explosiveness, vertical, and short area quickness. Reads the play pre-snap and will begin moving to the deep route before the play starts. Good mental processing, knows when to pass players off or make a break to a receiver. Has the athletic ability and physicality to handle man coverage. Very good play speed, has the range to cover sideline to sideline and be trusted in single-high coverage. Very good ball skills, clear that he also plays WR with how soft his hands are and how well he tracks the ball in the air. Willing to come down and hit the ballcarrier emerging from the backfield. Very good competitive toughness, unafraid of hitting, celebrates big plays, and doesn’t get discouraged by offenses on a drive.

Takes adequate angles to the ballcarrier and often finds himself a step off the optimal tackling angle. Slow breakdown when attempting a tackle and doesn’t tackle through the hips. Higher on him than most other national scouts, think he’s going to be a star at the next level and challenge for first team all-conference. Issues are small and easily fixable by college coaches within a year. Huge special teams upside.

BIG PLAY.
