Week two is upon us so while you watch the Friday night games here are my picks for Saturday.
Alabama -20 at Texas
— Quinn Ewers will be pressured, the Texas defense won’t be able to hang and the roster talent difference will be evident.
South Carolina +9 at Arkansas
Arkansas will win but I see this as a close and low scoring game.
Texas A&M -19 at home vs Appalachian State
This line puzzles me so take the Aggies to roll. When it’s too high a line always assume Vegas knows something. The Aggies will roll, someone knows something.
Pitt +6 at home vs Tennessee
These teams are two evenly matched to pass on taking Pitt at home almost getting a touchdown. The Vols win but Pitt covers.
Florida -6 at home vs Kentucky
The Gators are making me believe. Kentucky is not as good as Utah so take the Gators to win by a touchdown.
USC -8.5 at Stanford
USC will roll. Even though it’s at Stanford look for the USC offense to eventually overwhelm even as David Shaw tries to slow things up.

Oklahoma State -11.5 at home vs Arizona State
The Pokes looked bad in game one but the offense was amazing and I think they pull away late here for a two touchdown win.
Baylor +2.5 at BYU
Baylor is faster and speed will win in the end but this will be a close game.
