Fact or Fiction: Clemson, FSU, Jim Harbaugh

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]In today’s Fact or Fiction, I look at three big recent topics in college football and decide whether the statement is indeed FACT or if it’s FICTION.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text]

Fact or Fiction:

Clemson will win 11 or more games in regular season

Farrell’s take: FICTION

Until DJ Uiagalelei proves to me he’s the guy I saw with all that potential out of high school I’m giving Clemson 10 wins at most. It’s not a difficult schedule at all as they get NC State and Miami at home and the biggest road test is Notre Dame but there are some sneaky hard games in here. At Wake Forest and at Boston College are potential trap games and I have a feeling Louisville will give them trouble.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text]

Fact or Fiction:

Mike Norvell will survive the season for FSU

Farrell’s take: FACT

Many feel Norvell is a dead man walking at FSU but they are forgetting a few key factors. The ACC isn’t good, FSU is still paying for Willie Taggart and there is some feeling in Tallahassee from the sane that changing coaches again so soon would be a killer for the program. I think FSU wins 5 or 6 games at the most this season but he still keeps his job.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text]

Fact or Fiction:

Jim Harbaugh needs to win 10 games with that schedule

Farrell’s take: FACT

I have Michigan in the 8-4 range but most people think I’m crazy. Why? That schedule. It’s a joke. Yes Penn State, Michigan State and Ohio State are on the schedule as always but they get the Nittany Lions and Spartans at home. And outside of that? The away game at Iowa is a tough one but the rest are cupcakes as they landed Nebraska and Illinois across division. Harbaugh won’t be on any hot seat ever at Michigan as proven by his pursuit of the Vikings job and the welcome home he received when he didn’t get it, but less than 10 wins would really upset the fan base.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
