[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]In today’s Fact or Fiction, I look at three big recent topics in college football and decide whether the statement is indeed FACT or if it’s FICTION.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text]
Fact or Fiction:
Ohio State recruits WRs better than anyone else
Farrell’s take: FACT
There’s no debate when it comes to recent recruiting now with Carnell Tate and Brandon Inniss on board. When you consider Garrett Wilson, Julian Fleming, Emeka Egbuka, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Marvin Harrison Jr. and others, they have overtaken Alabama in WR recruiting and everyone else is a distant third. Chris Olave needs to be mentioned as well and he was just a 3-star.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text]
Fact or Fiction:
Rueben Owens will look around despite Louisville commitment
Farrell’s take: FACT
I just have a gut feeling that Owens, who was committed to Texas and liked other schools as well, will look around if Louisville struggles this season. Talks of a $3 million NIL deal are likely exaggerated and he can get that at bigger programs as well. If Louisville plays well he sticks but if they don’t watch out.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text]
Fact or Fiction:
Bijan Robinson should be RB1 on my Farrell50 RB list.
Farrell’s take: FICTION
The argument is that if Robinson had Ohio State’s offensive line then he’d be ahead of TreVeyon Henderson by far. And that’s a solid point but with Henderson a year younger and what he showed last season, I have him slightly ahead of Robinson on my Farrell50 RB list. Robinson is a better receiver but Henderson is more special as a runner.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
